Platinum Edition Megatron is easily available and decent looking in robot mode. I don't really love the red gun mode but it's better than the purple and green color scheme Classics Megatron came in. The Henkei version is even better being mostly black and silver if you can find it. It can sometimes be pricey, but you can find it for around $50 if you shop around and watch the eBay auctions.
If you don't mind going third party, Toyworld's Hegemon is a decent voyager class Megatron with a kinda fiddly transformation but a nice looking bot mode. The only other downside is that he is significantly taller than Classics Prime. Almost two inches taller. He's also a little pricey.
There is also an oversized KO Generation Toy Megasorry that is voyager scale and might look decent in a CHUG shelf. He's a bit chunkier than an actual G1 megs and has some back kibble, but he is a lot less... flamboyant than the Classics Megatron and less than half the price of Hegemon.
