  • Just live below your means. I know that is difficult to do at times, because sometimes it means not doing something or buying something you'd like, and instead putting stuff into savings as often as you can. If you aren't able to save right away, I would definitely write out a budget, look at each area, and determine where you can decrease what you spend. Maybe it is sacrificing a couple degrees on the thermostat, or eating out less. Whatever it may be, a budget is a super helpful tool! Congrats on the new place! :D
