Most Asian markets have them. Or of course amazon. bamboo ear picks
My mom is Japanese, and most Asians I know have no problem cleaning their ears from infancy using "mimikaki" or ear picks. I've used one since I could hold one, and they work great. Check out Amazon for mimikaki. Cheap, effective, and they are way better than q-tips for cleaning ears out. I've used them all my life, and my kids use them too. Billions of Asians can't be wrong! Link to mimikaki
These were the ones I got.
I use these and after I clicked your link I though, eh can't be that much better...but for some reason "LAWDY" sold me
I have dry ear wax. I use these along with Q-Tips.

I am quite addicted.
Yup - the final step was searching Amazon!

because I too have issues with ear was buildup. Normally The doctor has to remove it, but I haven't been able to get to the doctor and nothing else has worked for me. They're pretty popular in Japan, and I watched this guy do it:

(He has an unreal number of videos dedicated to ear wax, I don't understand.) It looked interesting so I figured it was worth a shot. I'll let you know if it works when they arrive!
People had been using ear spoons, ear picks, and ear scoops to clean their ears for centuries before cotton swabs were invented.
These days you can buy metal, plastic, and bamboo spoons, as well as other ear cleaning tools--little plastic loops, spirals, and scrub brushes, for instance. You can get tool kits and grooming kits that include ear spoons, an spoons with built-in flashlights. And there are a number of companies that sell reproductions of spoons from past cultures, in case you want something a little more distinctive.
