Backstory: I have been a watch guy but had no interest in a smartwatch, and actually disliked the idea of them up until fairly recently. Unfortunately, I broke my daily wear (A Nite Marquess) fairly badly, and was crushed by the wait time to get it fixed. So, I decided to give a smartwatch a try for a few months and given I'm a big Samsung guy, the Active 2 was a no brianer to match my S10. I immediately liked it and after picking up a leather band and the silver ring bezel for some accent flair, I am absolutely in love with it. I don't think I could go back to my "dumb" watches for daily use anymore.

So before this, I decided to hop into the "fitness/smart" watch scene... But since I didn't want to spend a ton, I waited until I could get a Versa for less than Retail, and actually ended up getting it for $130 Iirc at Kohl's maybe 10 Days after they first got them in.

The Versa was a GREAT intro into this world (in my opinion at least), but I knew I wanted to upgrade to something better. I'd been checking out stuff from Garmin for a while (after someone I know was talking about how much they love their new Fenix (5 Sapphire? I think. Something similar)), but the prices for the nicer options just weren't going to work out with all of the current and future medical co-pays and other bills that'll be coming in.

Ah, and I'm an Android user... So no Apple Watch... 🤷‍♂️

ANYWAYS - I saw an Ad for the Active2, and after a lot of research I was all in. Soon after I did pre-order for the 40mm (Non-LTE) Active2, plus that 10,000mAh Wireless Power Bank that came free with all pre-orders.

I fucking LOVE this thing.
I got a Rose Gold Magnetic Stainless Band for the Versa, and Gifted it to my Mother who I've been meeting up with to exercise 1-2x a week... And she loves it. She just wanted something easy, straight forward etc etc.

I bought a bunch of Bands on Amazon, knowing I'd return most... And chose one Leather Band (pictured) and one Black Magnetic Stainless Band that I really like. The rest will be taken to Kohl's next week.

I do have TWO QUESTIONS I'm hoping someone can help me out with...

1. One major reason I got this watch was to Monitor my HR... I have AFIB and really liked the idea of setting limits. I have them set, but all that's happened is that the heart on my watch-face turns red. No Vibration at all. I feel like I'm missing something right in front of my face... But can't find it. Is there even an option TO do this? They sure made it sound like it 🤷‍♂️
   
   
2. Does anybody have a suggestion for a BLACK ANALOG Watch Face that's Minimalistic, but actually shows my live HR reading. Shit, maybe even one you can change the color of the hands on or whatever...? I'm more than happy to pay for it if it's worth it.

   Absolutely recommended both of them for the price...!
   I recommend the Koreda Band all day long at any price! The V-MORO Band's clasp does feel a bit cheap, but it looks quite nice on wrist.
