1440p, 144hz, Freesync 2, LFC, 1ms overdrive, genuine 8-bit panel... $330 right now on Amazon:

Okay. If you decide to go with the 1660 super, or like an RX 5700 I'd stick with 1080P. If you decide to go with a RX 5700XT I'd say 1440p is reasonable, especially if you're comfortable overclocking your GPU.

I can't speak to 1080P monitors as I'm not familiar with the market right now, but in regards to 1440p you have a couple interesting options.

If you're looking for a TN panel, I'd recommend this guy

If you're looking for an IPS monitor I'd recommend either this guy
or [this one] (https://www.amazon.com/FreeSync-Monitor-Exclusive-2560x1440-Display/dp/B07MVX3PKS/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1C29BJYTYN1K0&keywords=aorus+ad27qd&qid=1573324753&sprefix=aorus+%2Caps%2C136&sr=8-1)

One important thing to note is that if you get an AMD graphics card DO NOT get a monitor with g-sync. The reason being is that while AMD freesync supports both Nvidia and AMD GPU's, Nvidia's g-sync will only support Nvidia cards. If you have any questions feel free to message back, I like to think I know an acceptable amount about monitors to help.

Oh, I also need a monitor but I'll probably use a tv(I know huge bottleneck) until black Friday. I was looking at the one you recommended or this one as its a 1440p 1ms 144hz TN panel with LFC and great colors recreation(as TN usually don't have great colors). https://www.amazon.com/GFT27DB-27-Inch-Monitor-Speakers-FreeSync/dp/B07NBM6KYH/ref=sr_1_1?crid=JYBOMANL52QW&keywords=viotek+gft27db&qid=1570923616&sprefix=viotek%2Caps%2C196&sr=8-1

Was looking into this monitor...

Any other recommendations?

I love my Viotek 27 inch, 1440p, 1 ms TN monitor. You'd hardly recognize it as a TN, I have it sitting next to an Asus 24 inch 1080p IPS panel and the color reproduction is nearly identical and no I've had no ghosting issues. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NBM6KYH

u/DVNO · 1 pointr/Monitors

This Viotek monitor has gotten some good reviews lately.

It is a TN panel, but it's a newer panel that produces more vivid colors. My understanding is that you wouldn't want to use it for color-sensitive work like photo/video editing since it over saturates, but it does help with the "washed out color" concerns that usually come with TN. You'll still have the poorer viewing angles though.

Here is a youtube review on it.

The Pixio PX277h is a 27" 1440p 144 hz IPS monitor with HDR (one of the only ones to feature that) but is a bit above your price range. They also have the PX276h, which is the TN version and a bit cheaper.

If you really want IPS, you might also consider the Nixeus EDG27S v2, which gets high praise around here and is considered to have the best FreeSync implementation on the market.

I haven't found a physical store that has it either. I'm just going to buy them on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NBM6KYH/.

u/Baggete_ · 1 pointr/buildapc

Ok so here is a good one I have found on amazon, and here is the link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NBM6KYH/?tag=pcpapi-20

u/c00lballs · 1 pointr/Monitors

Costco does shipping too if you don't have a store nearby. I don't have one either. Viotek has some good TN panels though. This has some great reviews too.

The VIOTEK GFT27DB and Acer KG271U Abmiipx also seem to fit your target specs.

Edit: Whoops, missed the speaker and g-sync compatible criteria. Haven't checked for that.

The GFT27DB has Freesync and is G-Sync Compatible, no onboard speakers (but you could always buy decent external ones for ~$20). The KG271U has Freesync, so you can enable g-sync, but it's not marketed as compatible (It has speakers, but to be honest you might want to miss this one since there aren't many reviews praising it).

u/FuckMyLife2016 · 1 pointr/Monitors

That's a VA panel. Though it provides the deepest black, its pixel transition is quite slow (compared to TN and IPS) so many people notice ghosting/trailing.

I'd advise against that tbh. If you're tight on budget to $300, you can try Viotek GFT27DB. It's TN but is very well reviewed.

u/TooRealForLife · 1 pointr/buildapc

Thanks and no problem! This was actually my first ever build so I needed everything (desk, chair kbm etc.) and I had a rigid 2.2k budget, so I had to go wallet friendly somewhere and monitors were it. Of course it’s been in use for less than a month but I’ve had zero issues with it and can confirm its claims of being G-sync compatible.

Sure, I mean to each his own and everything, I'm not hugely affected by response time. As to the matter of getting something higher than 144hz, not that your PC will be weak by any stretch, it'll definitely be a sweat rig, but I don't think an RTX 2060 is going to be capable of giving you 144+ fps... And with that, you'd also have to be getting WAY more than an extra 20 fps to notice a difference. I'm also not sure how readily available something higher than 144hz will be with the budget of $300. If you want something more, I'd upgrade the resolution to 1440p before trying to find something higher than 144hz, but that's just me. If you want a good idea of what your GPU would be able to do check out this website

All the information there is based off of real tests on real cards, no interference from manufacturer's claims on how good their cards are.

I've never heard of this brand but:
This may be a good option https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NP84NKD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_iLIUCbHHAPG14

This is a bit over $300 but this would be a great deal: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NBM6KYH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CMIUCbYCB1RR7

u/FrostByte62 · 1 pointr/buildapc

Okay so you'll definitely want a +100hz monitor. Recommend 144 or 165hz with some kind of adaptive sync. At 1080p, you should be able to consistently hit +100fps for these games on max settings and most likely even at 1440p.

With that said, 27" is kinda big for 1080p. At that size, you should get a 144hz, 1440p monitor, or better. This should be doable in your price range. Also see if you can find a FreeSync monitor that plays nice with your GTX. I'd browse for you, but I don't shop in the EU. Check if these amazon sales are available in your country:

u/arthurhvm · 1 pointr/buildapc

Oh yeah, don't worry about the prices those aren't the ones I'm 100% buying, I'll be looking thoroughly for each part and for the cheapest at that.

Um, my objective with this build is to game at 1440p max settings with no worries for the next 4-5 years.

Which monitor would you recommend for that? I'm really torn between a few different ones, but I thought that this one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NBM6KYH/?tag=pcpapi-20) was the best one, considering price, G-SYNC, 144hz 1 ms.

u/neskorama · 1 pointr/buildapc

Not unlikely, heres a couple:

$230

$280

u/modulev · 1 pointr/Monitors

VIOTEK GFT27DB is only $280 and matches your requirements: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NBM6KYH/?coliid=I1ZYLWTRYFNBIR&colid=1DV73DKZGSHQ3&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Although, it might be worth spending $100-200 more for something like the new ASUS VG27AQ (IPS) or VG27BQ (TN).

Or the infamous $500 LG 27GL850B.

u/Abulap · 1 pointr/Monitors

I would wait to see real reviews on the upcoming LG 27GL850-B, its an a new IPS 1ms panel nano led, 144hz Freesync / Gsync compatible, it should be out by ends of August, i seen around 500 eur preorder, but i would wait for reviews to see how it performs and if it doesn't have any issues.

Another budget monitor that might or not be available to you VIOTEK GFT27DB, its still a TN but its pretty decent for being a TN, if you want to see more about it, check The Best TN Gaming Monitor Ever? Viotek GFT27DB Review

  1. Dont need it

  2. N/A

  3. It matters hugely. Airflow, Build quality, cable managent, build enjoyment, etc. Dont cheap out on a case, it might seem like something that doesnt matter much, but trust me it does.

  4. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NBM6KYH/?tag=pcpapi-20&pldnSite=1

At that price range you could afford to do a double monitor setup. I got 2 of the curved monitors for my own setup would highly reccomend. Very good response time, 144hz, 1440p. There's a few options with a flat one with a 1ms response time. Personally I think the 32" monitors are a little too big and not comfortable since my eyes have to track so far across the screen, but everyone's preference is different.

https://www.amazon.com/GFT27DB-27-Inch-Monitor-Speakers-FreeSync/dp/B07NBM6KYH?th=1

Edit: I got 2 of the 27" 1440p 144hz black curved option.

u/althaz · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

This one is a good (the best probably) TN-based monitor: https://www.amazon.com/GFT27DB-27-Inch-Monitor-Speakers-FreeSync/dp/B07NBM6KYH/ref=as_li_ss_tl?qid=1560992168

For IPS or VA, I'm not sure though. A quick bit of research and I can't find anything decent value that's better than the viotek above in 27" 1440p.
