Its a mix of these two.

They both have the exact same pole diameters, so the arm for the UW fit over the standing desk mount.

The amazon basics is a really good arm. The other is great, just wish the clamp was as wide as the amazon arm (that I can't use for this combo) for extra support. No problems with the weight though.

In addition if you just want to mount one of them you can use something like this, although that one is probably taller than it needs to be. And here's another option for a free-standing 2 screen mount.

Main monitor is on its factory stand.

Top 27" monitor - VIVO Extra Tall Single Monitor Stand (39" tall)

I've also had a VIVO dual monitor stand, but ended up with this configuration instead.

Ok after some research and actually using chat tech support I got two options. They confirmed the supported weights as well.

Option #1

VIVO Extra Tall Single Monitor Desk Mount Stand with 39 inch Stand-up Pole | Fully Adjustable Extended Arm Fits 1 Screen up to 27 inches (STAND-V011)

https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Stand-up-Adjustable-Extended-STAND-V011/dp/B01BO42XK0/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=STAND-V011&qid=1565027284&s=electronics&sr=1-2

Option #2

VIVO Premium Aluminum Single Screen Pneumatic Spring Monitor Arm, Desk Mount Stand with Extension Pole | Fits 1 Screen up to 32 inches (STAND-V101GT)

https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Aluminum-Pneumatic-Extension-STAND-V101GT/dp/B07L8PMBKY/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=STAND-V101GT&qid=1565026687&s=electronics&sr=1-1

My possible issues with both options. Option #1 gives me a stronger base that won't sag, but not sure if the monitors will line up properly without the second monitor setup. Option #2 gives me adjustable with a functioning arm, but not sure if the arm will get high enough.

Hopefully this will help people in the future in the future when stacking dual ultrawides.

I use this for a very similar setup. 34" ultrawide on bottom, 29" ultrawide on top. This mount only holds the top monitor for me and the bottom just sits on the desk.

It's actually a bit of a frankenstein combo that's leftover from when I had a third monitor above those two.

This tall VIVO mount is holding the right monitor - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BO42XK0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have two 29 inch ultrawides one above the other. I did it the opposite way however - I have the bottom screen angled up, and the top monitor facing straight.

I pieced the monitor mount together using:

  1. a standing desk monitor pole mount with articulating arm
  2. a regular desk monitor pole mount with articulating arm

You just take the articulating arm from #2 and add it to the extra tall pole on #1. Save the extra pole for an intruder or something.
Unfortunately, they don't just sell the arm - the pole comes with it.

I used this for my U3417W. It has a 2 arm version too so you might wanna get that.

I used two mounts to make it happen:

First one was this 3 arm mount - I removed the middle mounting arm and used the two outside arms for the vertical 27' and the 34' ultrawide.

For the 27' mounted above I used this tall single mount

u/SdKfz2 · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Heyo this is it. The pole comes in three sections, I've only used two. I had an extra arm lying around that happened to fit for the second monitor, but you can buy those separately from VIVO too.

Derp, I didn't think to look up tall vesa mount. I was looking up adjustable vesa mount, overhead vesa mount etc

Found this by Vivo, which is a brand I've used quite a bit in the past. Still using now on my second monitor.

My only concern is it says 27" limit and I'm thinking more 29" or 34", haven't decided yet. Not sure if it will work.

u/EZZ917 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

why not leave the ultrawide on the desk and get a mount like this one that can be used to go behind the first one

u/echristoperj · 1 pointr/desksetup

This monitor stand will enable you to have above the main monitor.

u/ScapegoatZovc · 1 pointr/Monitors

Vivo offers a similar stand to that Ergotron for a little cheaper. I think it's meant for a Sit/Stand setup that isn't attached to a standing desk, because it has two monitor arms and a keyboard tray---

AND...

Looking for that doohickey I just stumbled upon this. Vivo STAND-V011. I can probably use this in conjunction with monitor arms I already have to attempt the setup I was looking for, and it's a lot cheaper than the other thing I was looking for (~$250 to the Ergo's ~$300), it's probably worth giving that a shot and leaning on Amazon's forgiving return policy in case it doesn't work out how I'm hoping.

I can't find the Vivo mount I'm thinking of, but hey, looks like I have something to work with for the time being.

I've just recently bought this for my 27in monitor above my UW. Seems good so far.

I'd imagine he's probably using the Ergotech Freedom Arm or something like it. If you want one on top of the other, they're not so great at that. The support arm usually tends to be too short. Since I was using a freedom arm, I went ahead and added a single monitor mount to my setup.

I was a little lazy and didn't hide the ergotech arm, but I could if I so desired.

Hope that helps.
