I got away from a dual monitor setup to go ultrawide. I tried the LG 34UM68-P but the 1080P resolution made text look some what fuzzy for a 34". I then tried the LG 34UM88C-P to get up to 1440P which improved text - my FPS took a hit of course but it also screen teared real bad (Nvidea GPU doesn't work with Freesync). In the end I got the Acer X34 mainly for G-sync and the higher refresh rate. It has BLB, but I think most do. All the LG's did as well.

My X34 is mounted on this

My Corsair Carbide 200R case is under mounted.
CPU: AMD 4 GHz FX-8370 - 8 Core
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC
SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 512GB
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600
MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+
PS: COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M700

Only thing I would do differently is go with a GTX 1080ti. But the 1070 still does a good job with PUBG.

EDIT: Yes I know my PC specs aren't top shit. If you want to take the time to identify that for me fine, please support your claims.

I just put my x34 on this with a little hassle but way better then the giant stand my monitor came with :3

The monitor is the Dell S2716DG 27” 1440p 144hz G-Sync monitor and the arm is this

u/chipt4 · 3 pointsr/GoodValue

I have this one and like it. Includes height adjustment, rotation, swivel AND tilt :)

Thanks! I am actually using two, this for the middle and right monitor, and this for the left one.

I decided to use two stands because no three arm monitor stand I could find gave me the angles I wanted.

u/the_peanut_gallery · 3 pointsr/battlestations

I think some are supposed to have support for mounting through that little hole in your desk, which would be perfect since it'd keep the base off to the side and out of the way of your hands. Maybe something like this

I'm using this wali single mount with my 27" predator, which is only a couple of pounds lighter than the 34" LG monitor. The stand supports up to 22lbs but the LG panel only weighs about 14 without the included stand. Would buy another one for my LG, a few reviewers have used this on monitors > 27" without issue. Very good for being just a stand, fairly adjustable but not easily on the fly like a gas spring mount would be

u/shidokanartist · 2 pointsr/ultrawidemasterrace

It's a WALI mount from Amazon, I just have it clamped to the desk but I took out a piece on the arm that connects to the vesa mount to make it shorter and makes it more sturdy as well.

u/monokhrome · 2 pointsr/ultrawidemasterrace

If you don't need a ton of mobility and don't plan on moving the monitor around much, then this is an affordable solution:

Middle one is only the center monitor. Top one is wall-mounted, yes.

Are you using a desk? Get a monitor mount. I have this one on my desk. Might need a taller one depending on the size of your monitor.

Here’s what I have for mine. I think it’s holding a 22 or 24 inch Dell and I like it a lot. I have mine mounted on the side of my desk and extended straight so it’s angled toward me in comparison to the other monitors

Edit: https://imgur.com/a/C2vrtls mine if you wanted an idea

u/SatiricalDuck · 2 pointsr/battlestations

You should look into getting a monitor mount that's lower profile and gives you some space on your desk (not that it's lacking). I've got a triple monitor setup with these guys:

u/notaneggspert · 2 pointsr/buildapc

I'm using one of these for my 2nd monitor. It's more stable than the shitty stand that came with my old Samsung panel so now I'm planning on replacing the Samsung stand with a shorter mount like this. Easy to put together but you do need two people to safely install. One to hold the screen while the other is under the desk clamping everything down but once it's tightened down properly its rock solid. I was surprised for how cheap/tall it is.

There are double/triple arms but I figured having two standalone ones would give me the most flexibility down the road. All, of, the, free, standing, ones, I could find look terrible and are expensive compared to the desk clamping arms.

u/JAWS_OF_FIRE · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

This mic stand is pretty good, but I can't really recommend it for the Yeti. The Yeti is a bit heavy and if you extend the arm on the stand it won't be able to hold the mic up. I've solved this with a very inelegant counterweight.

The monitor stands are really great. They're strong and very versatile. Would recommend.

u/Uncle_Gamer · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

I have a variant of that arm and it is working fine. I did however have to really crank down on the joint right behind the monitor to get it tight enough.

u/venerated · 1 pointr/Workspaces

Did you ever find one? I've been doing a lot of research about them! I ended up going with this Vivo dual monitor one but you wouldn't be able to mount 2 28" on there, you could do the 28" and 24". You could get 2 single mounts and do the 28" monitors that way. These mounts are cheap but I'm super happy with mine and it feels solid!

u/ubrtnk · 1 pointr/battlestations

Im actually using 3. This one for the Ultrawide and top and 2x these for the flanking ones.

u/carpand · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

if it'll let me post an Amazon link on Reddit here it is:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MT6ZEK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

It had a hard time directly behind the monitor (it turns into a "V" shape and sat too close to my face!) so I had to mount it off to the side, but it's worked very nicely so far.

u/OdiumZero · 1 pointr/battlestations

27 incher. Bought this mount from amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MT6ZEK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Have another 30 inch tv above it now mounted w the same mount.

u/TriathlonNerd · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Oh, WALI monitor stand pairs nicely.

https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Capacity-WL-M001/dp/B018MT6ZEK?ref=ast_p_ep

I have a dual and a triple mount that were both around 50 bucks. The dual has two 27 inch monitors and the triple has two 27 inchers and a 32 inch tv mounted. Both are mounted through the desktop with a grommet base. The clamp seems strong enough to hold one or two monitors safely if your desktop is solid or you brace it with a piece of 2x4 or whatever.

It is rated for 22lbs per VESA mount, which is around what the heavier 34 inch UW monitors weigh. I would not feel uncomfortable hanging a 34 incher on mine, seeing as my current 27inchers weigh 19.5lb each. I plan to do so in the near future.

The same mounting system is sold under several brand names and in many configurations on amazon.com for very low prices.

u/Crimtide · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Actually found this for $20 if you don't want to have the adjustment capabilities

u/SirGuppy · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Is this any different from the "Wali" stand listed above?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018MT6ZEK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_PDk3kCvCQCUgD

u/matthewmccleskey · 1 pointr/battlestations

I use this!

Then I got an arm mount to hold it up

u/Pointy130 · 1 pointr/battlestations

I have a monitor that size at work, there's plenty of good mounts.

This style works well.

u/ON_A_POWERPLAY · 1 pointr/Monitors

If you know the VESA pattern and the weight you should be able to search for something with that weight capacity. Had the same issue at work.

We have these heavy ass all in ones at work and I ended up having to use this to hold it.

u/NaughtyMath · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Probably looked like this? idk but would be a different brand

u/pterencephalon · 1 pointr/buildapc

I'm planning to get 2 of that monitor for my upcoming build (and have had recommended to me in a couple of places).

If you're worried about physical space on your desktop, you could invest in a mounting arm for $30 that will free up desk surface space.
