Coins do not have consistent weight, so you cannot calibrate your scale with them. There is dirt, scratches etc from being in circulation. They are also produced with different alloys depending on the production year. Even in production there are tolerances. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/31/5113
I like my scale from Amazon, I use it multiple times a week. You can also buy a 5g weight to calibrate it.

I am not sure about really needing to go less than 4g, but I guess maybe there is some espresso need for that. I just got this one as a replacement

It is nice, only downside is that during pourover sometimes it turns off unless I tap it with my finger every minute. If I had my preference I'd try and find one where I could deactivate or change the "auto off" time. It has a minimum weight of 3g.
If you really needed to be accurate under 4 g you either get a super expensive one or just get a smaller one like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y61YW7S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_H5Z5Cb55WQXW6
for your coffee only that tops out at 100g and one like mine for the overall process.
Buy a new scale here’s one and it’s fucking cheap + accurate
I use the OXO scale. It’s accurate to 1g.
If your SO is getting into baking artisan bread, it would help to have a micro-scale to measure small amounts of ingredients. This one is the one I use but any scale that measures to .01 grams with decent accuracy will work well.
If your capsules say they contain 3 grams already why can't you just open and dump them straight into a teaspoon and into your mouth?
In case I'm totally missing something or if you're just wanting to give T+W a go in general, I highly highly recommend getting one of these pretty cheap scales. I wouldn't eyeball it as if you put too much, there's a big chance you (like me and many others) may get incredibly nauseous if you accidentally take way more than you wanted.
By your listed measurements, I'm guessing you're using a kitchen scale; they only go to 0.1 g. It's helpful to buy a pocket "gram" scale. They discriminate to 0.01 grams.

There's a guy on youtube that reviewed the Rob Cross darts and weighed them on a kitchen scale. I immediately shut it off. He lost all credibility.

Gram scales are cheap on Amazon in the US. Your account might get flagged by the DEA though; they're often used to measure stuff that's not darts...

I got this one. Simple and happily used it for over a year now.
Just place a shot glass on top and spoon over the nutrient
Forgot to leave a review of the effects. Hitting from a bong, slightly euphoric, kind of got rid of my anxiety. Overall I just felt "good" and content for the most part. I'll smoke from a joint and update tomorrow if I remember
The scale I got has great reviews and seems to work well and it's pretty cheap. Definitely portable. About the size of a Samsung Galaxy 9 or so: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y61YW7S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jaumDbHA1AXY0

I just found that and it even had a pic of bud being weighed, must be a sign
You just need a ten dollar jeweler's scale. I'm a silversmith and use one to a accurately measure gemstones in carats, so it will be good enough for your needs.

Edit :now that I think about it, you'd be better off making a tincture and then dosing that orally. Would be a lot easier to get an exact and consistent dose that way.

There is no exact conversion because you are trying to go from volume to weight. That said, one level, unpacked tsp is approx 2.5g.
Here is approx conversion cc to tsp
1 cc ~0.20 tsp
1tsp (level, unpacked) ~2.5g
0.20 x 2.5=0.5g
Like I said, that's for level, unpacked tsp. If you're packing it in, then it's more (obviously).
tl;dr: No way to know for sure. Best to get a scale.
Here are three good inexpensive ones.

> The second one has problems with masses below 1-2 grams too
My solution to this has been tapping the scale to have the weight go up to weights that are "easier to register" so to speak, and then back down to the actual weight.
The real solution is to get a 0.01g scale such as this (which I also have) and use it for all your sub 100g measurements.
A lot of coin dealers I buy coins by weight from use this.
3.5-5? Depending on density? But honestly. A 12 dollar scale is a good move. Eyeballing is always going to end up ripping somebody off. https://www.amazon.com/Weigh-Gram-Digital-Jewelry-Kitchen/dp/B06Y61YW7S
