Hitchens and Dawkins are relatively poor authors on the subject of atheism (especially as one simply rehatches the thoughts of others while being very unphilosophical and the other is a polemic).

There's a collection of essays about religion by Betrand Russell entitled, "Why I Am Not a Christian." It's far better from an intellectual perspective.
