I use some cable raceways for my TV the bedroom. Pretty cheap option. You can pick them up at your local home improvement store. They come in a bunch of sizes and lengths, and are easy to paint if you want.

Edit: I used the 3M Velcro command strips to hang them instead of drilling into the wall. They do sell self adhesive ones, but it will take the paint off the wall if you ever decide to move it.

So I did a bit of MSpaint with one of your photos using the suggestions below. Let me know what you think...

Since your LRs are in wall, you could go with a larger screen that's acoustically transparent. This for example...

If you want to have a clean look in conjunction with a acoustically transparent screen, buy another in wall speaker as your center and install that at the same height as the LRs, eliminating the need for any center stand. You could go a step further by placing the AV gear to the side on a little media shelf/rack, or just an entertainment center below. Would require a bit of cable channeling if you go with the rack idea of course.

I would use zip ties or Velcro - or better yet, one of those cable management channel from Amazon or found in the electric supply section of most home improvement stores and use 3M command strips to attach to the wall or desk/bed.

I drilled some holes in the walls and ran the cables, but that can be kind of expensive if you don't already have the tools (Here's a video if your curious https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2--l-YX1HU ).

But this isn't always necessary. Here's another video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSqbXl5m4_o

They also make things like this https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Management-Channel-Organizing-Wall/dp/B0781J9Q2S/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=wire+hiders&qid=1555747014&s=gateway&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1 they work pretty well as long as you paint them to match the room.

> Was thinking about getting a long Ethernet cable and having it run across the ceiling but it would look pretty damn ugly.

There are products out there to help conceal your wires.
