I started with clear umbrellas in various sizes--

adults

(These are pretty standard in every jellyfish costume you see on Pinterest.)
I bought a bunch of floral leis from Party Depot (not the plastic ones but the ones with individual fake flowers) for the center tentacle-y looking things. Like these: https://www.partycity.com/bright-floral-leis-6ct-583940.html
For the blue/green one, I covered the outside of the umbrella in this amazing TCU color-changing fabric. https://www.etsy.com/listing/721976624/blue-color-changing-laser-colorful?ref=hp_rf-2&frs=1 But I just filled the other to with tulle that matched the color story.
I used about a million of these lights in different colors, which are thankfully stupid cheap. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RZYVHV3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My biggest find was this tubing that's kind of like a long piece of Chinese Finger Puzzle but thing and light. I cut it to various lengths and then ran the strings of LED lights down the center.

The thinner white version:

And for the two with tulle-stuffed tops, I ran one sting each of these lights a all through the tops and set them on a setting that made it look like they were expanding and contracting.
I think that's everything.
