Book - for my husband, we love the Nightmare Before Christmas movie and I think he would love a Jack Skellington face.
A funny story about how we met - I was a waitress at a popular pool hall (billiards) in a military town and my friend said he was gonna come out and bring someone to introduce me to. So I walk over to them after being introduced to bring them a round of drinks, and after I set the drinks down I playfully hip-checked him (I used to be a roller derby girl) and I accidentally knocked him on his butt. I felt so bad that I sat on the floor with him till I knew he was better, and found out he had a bad hip. We still laugh about how I literally knocked him off his feet when we first met. Lol. He is actually (finally! Years later. . .) getting the surgery to repair his hip this December.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! I feel compelled to point out that diamond paintings require literally 0 talent just a lot of patience, all you do is stick the beads/shiny bits where it tells you (you can see the key in the upper right). I am by no means and artist, just good at following directions!

I dont have a huge budget so every year I pick a new friend or family member and paint a new paint by number for them or trace a picture I like and paint it in.

My friends are HUGE Star Wars fans and their sons room is themed that way. I think they will love these DIY diamond drill paintings and I haven't tried it before.

It’s much more sturdy than the original design and works much better. I had the original one and that one broke after a few uses. This one can’t break (well, with normal use) because between the open rounds there’s no tiny slivers of metal

It's not messy at all. And yes, the resin diamonds are pretty small. This is the one that we've been working on.

Clear finishing Wax Paste - a no-brainer I'm sure this is the right stuff.

Zinsser Shellac Primer? - something tells me this isn't quite what I want.

Shellac sanding sealer - looks alot more appropriate.

I defer to your knowledgeable judgement here, this is my first time doing anything like this.
