This is something I whipped up to woo the ladies (past tense as I done snagged me one.)

Get fresh uncooked chicken tenders. We're talking fresh from a grocery store's meat department. Pan fry them on low to medium heat to keep them moist. Use a non-stick canola oil in the pan and cook until you get a nice smattering of golden browning.

Once browned, use this liberally (doesn't have to be six as you can likely pick up a bottle from said local grocery store.)

Spin those tenders around in that lovely sauce for about 5 minutes on medium heat. Don't worry if it starts to stick to the pan. Dump about a half cup of water in and it'll reliquify in a hurry.

Next, you'll need some Yakisoba noodles which, again, will likely be easily purchased at the store. I believe these can be purchased fresh. Not sure if they're processed or not. Boil the noodles as you would any other until soft, drain, plate and place the tenders on the bed of noodles.

If these items aren't at a local store, see if there's an Asian market around.

If you cannot get noodles to fit your desires, I'd recommend a stir-fry of your favorite veggies. Those tenders are the key. Everything else is the ribbon on this gift.

Note: The peanut sauce has a kick to it. I advise both of you to try it as is before he douses it in Sriracha.

Oh drool! Yes, exactly like that! I buy this stuff at Costco to use in a pinch. (https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Foos-Kitchen-Coconut-Marinade/dp/B07MV3JWZB)

Thanks for the recipe- I've bookmarked it for tomorrow :)

I kind of cheated with this chicken by using an out of the box mix (this one specifically).

But it turned out delicious.

It's kind of silly, but I have a reusable water bottle at work. I use its straw and apply three straws' worth of water. I suspect it's probably a tablespoon or so. And that seems to do the trick.

Here's the recipe for the pad Thai and the peanut sauce. https://tastesbetterfromscratch.com/pad-thai/

Full disclosure though, I've been going between that and this prepared sauce. It's available at whole foods for half the price and is fantastic.
