I'm looking at getting a relatively cheap cassette player that I can use to rip a pile of cassettes to MP3. Does anyone have any experience with this one in particular?
Any general recommendations are welcome. Am I better off saving money for a better deck? If a more expensive cassette player will yield higher quality rips then I'm down to save for one, but if it doesn't make a difference I'd rather stick with a cheap but reliable one.
Most voice recorders are worth more than 20$. Don't be afraid of Amazon this GE one is going for 45$

definitely this since its the one jacket actually uses ingame (dont buy them from amazon tho, I saw ones on ebay going for about 40 bucks used.)
I offered in the 4/16 thread, but I would contribute this, so long as you guys and girls could ship it between each other.
I would guess that the cassette is a micro cassette?
Then this should do the trick.

My bad. Just over 10 bucks.
And for all the folks asking about ripping tapes to mp3

20 bucks.
Just got a neutral feedback(pretty much a negative in terms of rating) on Amazon because of a defective vintage product accessory and so far Amazon isn't removing it so its up to the customer.

I sold it as used(Used - Good) even though the accessories were still brand new/factory sealed, it was essential an Open Box product. A month after she purchased it she left me a neutral saying the headphones do not work(the same headphones that were factory sealed in the box).
Even more annoying is she said she didn't actually need the headphones for what she uses it for.
