Okay, I've always wanted to be an interior designer and I looooove putting colors together for rooms and of course if I was doing this for myself I would do purple, and grey or brown but you're of the male type so pale blue is a great wall color or something along the lines of this with this fantastic fabric for the curtains!

And this cute family tree would be awesome to help decorate my house, I am a picture fan without a doubt and have tons and tons of pictures of my family all over my house but nothing as cute or unique as this

Lets change those curtains :)

  • First off, you need a battlestation. A nice desk set up with your computer for gaming or Redditing.

  • An awesome recliner is a must. Also, one of those chair massagers.

  • A flat screen on the wall.

  • A shelf organizer to put your books, games, video game consoles and have them organized. Maybe even one of these cool wall storage things.

  • Perhaps a mini-fridge to keep drinks cold, and maybe even a mini-bar with a tap if you're really into good brews.

  • Have a wall of your favorite posters, remember to frame them to look extra classy.

  • Have another wall to hang framed vinyls, put some of your favorites up.

Never said it would be cheap, I know the giant frame for my Mum's book of the dead was ridiculous. When you're getting a thing around that size, it really does make a room though, so it may well be worth it for some people. As for the mag clips, that may be quite a nice idea. Would work really well in a rustic sort of games room that I dream of owning but never will...

I think another more reasonably priced idea would be something like a HUGE version of one of these being made for it, if that's possible. I think it would work well if it's possible, and may well be much cheaper.

By the way, great image mate, will probably be picking up a small version and framing it myself, do you know how much that would likely be?

She's actually a pretty accomplished artist, she did this one shortly after finishing the movie, so she was just a kid. As far as I'm aware, it's the only JP painting she did.

I got it from her Amazon store, but it was $100 less during Christmas. This is the frame I got for it, which I think looks great. Especially with the metal JP logo nailed to the frame.

So my girlfriend just took a trip to Europe with her father and took a very nice photo of the two of them at the Eiffel Tower. As a surprise I was going to have the photos framed for each of them and I found a really nice frame on Amazon for 6 bucks. Here is the frame I found and while I saw the words I didn't really read them:

PICTURE FRAME

Thank goodness I did see it right away and before I gave it to her and it's heading back to Amazon now. That is a sealed glass frame!

Find out her favorite album and see if the vinyl is available for that album! What I like about vinyls are the inserts that are included most of the time (posters, album artwork, sometimes lyrics).

Also, even if you don't have a record player, the vinyl itself looks great framed so you can also get her something like this as well (vinyls are generally cheaper than $30 depending on what album you're looking for)

edit: Didn't get this off the AU site, it's available on their regular site too.

Got a pretty good frame off Amazon but it was way pricer than I would have liked at like $89

For everyone asking how its made.

I followed a guide /u/Guitrum was the original. I spoke with him and got some advice on how he got the frame.

Here is a link to the frame - https://www.amazon.com/SnapeZo-Aluminum-Profile-Front-Loading-Mounting/dp/B00GDH6UZS

I owned 2/3 of so of the cards before i set out to make this. I picked up about half of what i needed from a card shop in Tempe, AZ (Showtime Sports). The rest i bought from various online shops or ebay.

Charizard was the most expensive. None were hard to get as long as you are willing to pay.

Putting everything together took around 2 hours once i had everything.

Yes i swapped the gastly to the correct card. And i fixed the angle on the krabby,

Well worth it!

Cant believe how big this got over 100k views! Thanks a ton.

I have the same poster and got this frame: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H4Z7BSM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4pQJDbTCNAX2P

It’s plastic instead of glass and the back panel is cardboard, but it’s lightweight and looks pretty nice!

u/JustANonner · 1 pointr/BeastieBoys

I used to have the same poster set (I wish I still had it). I used borderless clip frames. They are cheap on Amazon and you can get 4 of them for $65 (https://www.amazon.com/Quadro-Clip-Frame-24x36-Borderless/dp/B077GLFZ5T). They looked really great when framed and hung on the wall.

u/llanox · 3 pointsr/HipHopImages

Doesn't look the same exact ones as OP's but these are pretty similar.

Not super cheap though at $20 per frame. There's another listing for buy 5, get 1 free

u/Gallifrasian · 1 pointr/TheLastAirbender

Since the frame doesn't come with it, I recommend these poster frames from Amazon. They're for the 24x36 ones. I just got them yesterday for my Bioshock posters and they're cheap and fantastic, not to mention easy to disassemble/reassemble. Comes with 2 frames.

u/MrMushyagi · 4 pointsr/malelivingspace

Will be tough finding prints. Best bet is to buy the actual album and use a display frame like this

https://smile.amazon.com/Record-Sleeve-Display-Featuring-Plastic/dp/B009D3D3M2?sa-no-redirect=1

Or find high quality images of the album art online, and have prints made.

u/Lilyo · 2 pointsr/framing

Easiest would be something like this. 18x24 frame with a mat opening for 12x18 prints. The mat size is usually a little smaller to get some overlap with the print, so it should work fine without covering much of it. Maybe look around for the right frame and mat for it though.

SnapeZo Movie Poster Frame 30x40 Inches, Black 1.25 Inch Aluminum Profile, Front-Loading Snap Frame, Wall Mounting, Professional Series https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M06OWCJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4-jhDb8ZHHJWG

Overall decent quality. Came with a glossy and mat front.thr glossy is what I used. It's a thick plastic not glass. I think it will look good on a wall without breaking the bank. The top and bottom are an almost exact fit with about a half and inch on the left and right.

I'm in Hamilton, ON, Canada.

Prints $5.99 @ Costco

Frames $13.99 @ Amazon

Total after tax ~ 315, good luck

u/iamthepickintheice · 3 pointsr/radiohead

I got the frame for $35 on Amazon, then took it to a friend who does custom framing.

These poster frames are less than 30$ as well. And you get two!

u/thoughtaboutjuly · 3 pointsr/malelivingspace

You can buy them off of Amazon as well - $16 CAD per frame.

I ordered this one for mine, if you'd like to check it out.

I'll pop a link below. Essentially just a square picture frame you slide the sleeve into. From there it's just like hanging any other normal picture.

https://www.amazon.com/Record-Sleeve-Display-Featuring-Plastic/dp/B009D3D3M2

u/ieGod · 2 pointsr/RocketLeague

They are vinyl "specific". I put that in quotes because it's really just a square glass frame with a bit more space in between the glass panes. You can put anything in there.

But they're marketed as such. It's this product here.

u/xXbranster97 · 3 pointsr/nfrealmusic

This is the one I got, it's a pack of 2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H4Z7BSM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uygzDbE1EM8SF
There might be cheaper ones if you look around

u/AsdfThe1st · 1 pointr/fujix

Another option is to buy mats if you plan on framing and hanging. Currently, I have 12x18 prints inside 18x24 frames: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0763VC1TP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There are also some shops on Amazon that will give you a complementary custom cut mat if you buy their frame.

u/pasuncontrarian · 3 pointsr/MUAontheCheap

We’re annoying hipsters who collect vinyl, so we bought a bunch of album frames similar to these, so that we can display some of our favorite album covers. We change the records out when we get bored. I also have a large tapestry from an import shop on one wall I wanted to cover.
