I've used one on a custom car we made in high school. It was (relatively) easy to fiddle with if you know what you're doing. If you want anything custom(sequential injection or coil on plug ignition), you're going to have to know how to solder. It's pretty good for turbo applications (IMO) because they have a pretty good boost control solenoid for relatively cheep that's easy to install and a built-in MAP sensor. A megasquirt is what I'm going to get when I do my KA-T build. They're also pretty expandable if you want to change anything later.

If you do decide to go the megasquirt route, I would suggest reading a book like this or this so you really know what in the hell you're doing when it comes time to "mess with the tables". It was pretty challenging on that custom car.

Also, Porsche is awesome.

Your link isn't working for me.

You need a hub, which has the splines to mate to the steering column. This one will fit your car. The Quick Release bolts onto the hub, using 6 hex screws. The wheel will then bolt to the quick release. You don't need a quick release, but they do help move the wheel closer to your body, if that's what you want.

Your end product looks like this

Steering column -> short hub -> quick release -> steering wheel

So after a little more searching I found a site that had a good diagram so I thought I'd update for future reference.

Here are the part numbers for all the bearings/seals:

  • seal-oil, drive pinion - 38189-N3112 (x1)

    oem/aftermarket

  • bearing drive pinion front - 38140-V7000 (x1) (this item is discontinued but can still be found at some places)

    oem

  • seal-oil differential side - 38342-N3100 (x2)

    oem/aftermarket

  • bearing differential side - 38440-N3111 (x2)

    oem/aftermarket

  • bearing drive pinion rear - 38120-06P10 (x1)

    oem

All OEM price came out to $296.12 and going with the cheapest prices (at least that I could find on a quick search) came out to $218.26. If you do look and find any of the parts cheaper than what I've linked from reputable sites let me know.

    Hope this helps someone out.

i run the Hella H4 conversion housings as the optics are top quality, and i use a local companies H4 LED conversion.

the DOT legality is questionable because i am not using a halogen bulb as intended, and i don't think the LED kit is certified. but the light output & focus is ideal. it puts the light where it should be.

the Hella housings are all glass & should stand up to the heat of even the highest output LED/HID

I only needed to use bolt extractors once. It was the coil pack bolt on an SR20 valve cover. It was probably a much easier extraction than what you're dealing with. I used an Easy Out kit.

For your situation, I'd try something like this.

Check YouTube for tutorials. Start small. Use a center punch. Use penetrating fluid.

I'd say go for these, MB Battles. They sold new for 150 per, unfortunately though they're discontinued but you should be able to find them for sale used for around that price on your local facebook marketplace or on some forums. Plus they look awesome on 240's for the price.

This is the way to do it if you don't have one of the Spill-Free Funnels.

If you do decide to go through the painstaking punishment of being patient and get one your life will be substantially easier bleeding the system. You don't even have to open the bleeder screw. However, jacking up the front end also makes this method substantially more efficient. Also, squeezing the lower radiator hose can also help.

Looks much better than OEM, but I prefer the shaved look. I shaved mine off and it looks way better. I got one of these and its not perfect, but I dont listen to much radio anyways.

If you put an ebay exhaust on with a big can, it may actually be louder than a straight pipe (speaking from experience). So just find a muffler shop (or fabricator) and put a 2" or 2.5" universal (weld-on) from a known brand such as Magnaflow or Borla. You can grab one of these on Prime for $89 which is well worth it, pay the muffler shop around 150-200: https://www.amazon.com/MagnaFlow-Exhaust-Products-11226-Muffler/dp/B000CCFIXU/ref=sr_1_3?crid=21K7G589MFITS&keywords=magnaflow+muffler+2.5&qid=1558391557&s=gateway&sprefix=magnaflow%2Caps%2C138&sr=8-3
