I just managed to snag one on Walmart. Looks like they're having "pre-orders" ship to store. I think they're releasing them one by one because it went OOS 2 times within 10-15 min just now. I will try to PM to Amazon Prime Phoenix right now. I would advise keep refreshing right now!

Yea I had issues with the first one, just gotta keep trying until you get a good one. I also tried to provide concise information. I accidentally clicked away before I could save the transcript but my initial request was just like "I purchased two 3ds for $149. Amazon now has it at $99. Can you guys price match that?" With my order number in the section.

When they asked I also provided the plain link to the item:

and immediately added "if the item isn't showing up you need to input the zipcode (whichever zip code is working - I used a Virginia beach one, my billing zip code was not that one)

They took forever to respond (like 5-7 minutes) but I just let them work. I also thanked them throughout the process. Then they said they could only price match one item so I thanked them and said that would be wonderful.

The first person I gave a complicated link and explained what Amazon prime now was because they didn't seem to be able to understand that it needed a zip code. And she shut me down for my troubles because they only price match Amazon not Prime Now.

I own this version and to be quite honest, it’s a very well done remake. I’m noticing that most first-party titles released at the end of the 3DS lifespan don’t use the 3D feature of the console, and this game has one of the best implementations of it.

The game feels very natural to play on the 3DS and includes some extras worth playing again if you are a fan of the GameCube version.

Edit: For anyone still on the fence, the price is (currently) cheaper on Amazon by mere cents ($28.35 at time of posting).

Oh, wow, Toki Tori, the Gameboy Color game re-released on 3DS... Amazing.

What about stuff like Fire Emblem or Stella Glow or freaking Bravely Default? Amazon has BD for what, $10-15 few times a year? It still costs 40 EUR!

I want sales for good games, not rereleases from Gameboy Color or crappy shovelware. Look at our sale now: some shit like Van Helsing Sniper, Kutar Ski Lift or Atlantic Quest. US has Pokemon Y for $25, Zero Escape for $20, several sales for Majora's Mask for $30 since last week, last week Xenoblade Chronicles for $20...

The only good games EU gets on sales somewhat regularly are Atlus releases or recently lowered permanently Etrian Odyssey. Did I mention Bravely Default, a game that is few years old, yet you had the sequel for $20 just 2 or 3 weeks ago? Yeaaah, we have awesome sales...

I spent a bit more, but I feel like it was worth it. I got a Mario Party: Island Tour blue 3DS XL bundle for $130 (free shipping, no tax). I found one of these cases on clearance for $6 at Sears. I also picked up Pokemon Y ($15) and A Link Between Worlds ($20) from the kmart sale. About $170 for a 3DS XL, 3 games, and a case (all new as well). Merry Christmas indeed!

I really want this 3ds for the cover plates, but the prices have been $250 + for the past few weeks. Do you think it's worth it to buy or should I wait? To be honest, I'd also be fine getting a 3ds and buying the plates separately, but I'm having a tough time finding the plates.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Absolutely great game, but it is interesting to note that Amazon Warehouse deals is selling the collectors edition for $71.33. They shipped them out for $50, smashed the boxes, had them returned, and are now selling them for $21 more than the original price. I'm glad I was able to get a partial refund of $27 on my damaged CE and keep it instead of returning it for them to make $20 more.

Look on the official Nintendo Page (google search). it will give you a list of micro SD's that work with the 3DS systems. As a rule of thumb, don't go beyond 32 gb, because it will not register.

I believe some of the later games will require the system to be of the "NEW" variety.

You need to live by a Prime Now location that has to have it in stock. Prime Now is only in a handful of cities unfortunately.
