> IQ is highly dependent on social environnement, family and school education and the subject's personality.

WRONG. That's where you are wrong, kiddo.

  1. Attempts by programs like head start to give blacks highly enriched educational environments have failed to produce lasting changes in their IQ’s relative to whites.

  2. Children of black parents that make between $160K and $200K a year are less intelligent than white children from families that make less than $20K a year. Similarly, the IQ difference between rich black kids and rich white kids is even larger than the IQ difference between poor black kids and poor white kids.

  3. Our society has obviously become much less “racist” over the last hundred years. Yet, the black/white IQ gap is basically the same today as it was in 1918.

  4. Genetic theory predicts that the children and grand children of smart people will tend to be ever dumber until they reach the average IQ level of the population. The children and grand children of smart black parents “regress” in this way to a mean IQ of 85 while the children of smart white parents regress to a mean IQ of 100. The only obvious explanation for this comes from genetics.

  5. Whites have larger brains than blacks. This seems to be for genetic reasons since there are also many other muscular and skeletal differences between blacks and whites that are associated with evolving larger brains and because these brain size differences are present at birth. Larger brains are also associated with being more intelligent. Three lines of evidence suggest that this association is causal: first, genes that are associated with being more intelligent are also associated with larger brains. Second, a person’s brain size changes over time ]predict changes in their intelligence over time](https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/03/140304141734.htm). And third, smarter siblings have larger brains their their less intelligent siblings who grew up in the same home as them (this suggests that the relationship can’t be explained by any possible confounding variable in the family environment such as nutrition). So it seems that whites have evolved to be more intelligent than blacks partly by evolving larger brains.

  6. Mulattos (people who have a black and a white parent) have higher IQ’s than blacks but lower IQ’s than whites. A genetic explanation would predict this because half of a mulatto’s genes are black and half are white. In fact, even with in black populations those who have lighter skin (because they have more white ancestors) have higher IQ’s.

  7. The Minnesota trans-racial adoption study, which is the best of its kind, found that at age 17 blacks adopted into upper middle class white homes averaged an IQ of 84, Mulattos averaged 93, and whites 102. Thus, being raised in an affluent white family didn’t boost black or Mulatto IQ just as a (mostly) genetic hypothesis would predict.

  8. Some IQ sub-tests are more heritable than others. (That is, twin studies show that differences between individuals on some tests are more due to genetic differences between people than others.) The race IQ gap is largest on those subtests with the highest levels of heritability and the only obvious explanation for this is that the B/W IQ difference is caused by genetics.

  9. Versions of genes associated with intelligence differ in frequency between the races in such a way that favors white people.

  10. Egalitarianism isn’t evolutionarily or genetically plausible. We know that the different environments the races evolved in produced differences in just about every physical trait from bone density to height to muscle size. And we know that the large differences in weather and food availability must have caused people to behave differently. The idea that these different environments selected for intelligence with exactly equal pressure seems incredibly unlikely. Similarly, studies have found that the races differ in the frequency of most (or all) genes and this includes genes that affect brain development. So the races possessing any random single gene in the same frequency is unlikely. In order for them to have to same genetic profile with regards to intelligence, which involves thousands of genes, this would have to happen thousands of times. If we assume that that the probability of the races having the same frequency for some gene is 40% (it’s actually much lower) and that intelligence involves 15 genes (it actually involves thousands) the probability that the races would have the identical frequencies for each of these genes is 0.0001%. Given this, the idea that they would have the exact same frequency for the thousands of genes that affect intelligence is basically impossible.

As cliche as it is on Reddit, Starting Strength 3rd ed. actually does a really good job of teaching you how to do the 4 big lifts (squat, deadlift, bench, power clean) and gives you a newbie program to work with.

If you can get a friend to learn with great! If not, suck it up and find a good personal trainer to give you an hour teaching you and making sure you've got good form. Then just follow the program. You'll level up quickly and feel pretty good about it. The fact that you go in each day with a specific (and increasing) set of numbers is how you stay accountable. Keep track of it online. Fitocracy is a free online site (started by Redditors) that allows you to track your workouts and join in challenges, ask questions, etc.

Spend a week teaching yourself at home, watching videos and hanging out in /r/fitness. Then go spend 3 days a week for a month actually doing a program. Don't cheat, don't skip for that whole month. I bet you keep on going after that.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KE9C6C6/ is better.

> TIGHT but thrilling, comfortable, and slightly embarrassing to wear.... Delightfully playful, JUST ENJOY it!!!

Maybe they can make him a special quarter-length version.

A few people recognized the character I was dressed as and they liked the costume and thought the jacket was pretty nice.

The people that didn’t know who Driver is just thought it was a weird bomber jacket.

And the jacket I got looked ok at best on the website and it ran me about 60ish dollars but it turned out way better than I could hope for.

It’s similar to satin and it keeps you warm and comfortable.

I’ve worn it a few times during the winter and even in my speech class when I have a speech on why Driver is the best Anti Hero.

Edit: I forgot to add something in.

Edit 2: I believe this is the one I have

There was no slavery in the US in the early 20th century.

Read this book:

The post-reconstruction US wasn't too bad for black folks. America was rebuilt. Remade. African Americans had a huge hand in that. For the first time in history, they owned a piece of it. Built their own homes and started their own businesses. Folks who could probably still remember a time when they weren't allowed to learn how to read were able to build schools and educate their children. It was far from perfect. It was good though.

The Civil Rights Movement was a wonderful thing. I would have supported whole-heartedly, but I think the end result was detrimental to black folks. The government started social-engineering and moving people into huge housing projects in the inner-city. Essentially took a proud and self-sustaining people and made them dependent upon the government.

You can do your own digging and form your own opinions, of course. What is taught in schools and propagated by the media is rarely the whole story. Or the truth, for that matter.

Do you know if something like this product would affect me in these ways? I plan on ordering it in the near future

GAT - NITRAFLEX - Testosterone Boosting Powder, Increases Blood Flow, Boosts Strength and Energy, Improves Exercise Performance, Creatine-Free (Pineapple, 30 Servings) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C0BT9DQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_juQMDb9ARKT7R

Yeah, well, of course, guns weren't accurate at all up to the last 100-200 years. Cannons were somewhat, but you don't usually go hunting with a cannon. Handcannons were pretty unreliable, too.

Let's do that, yeah.

What's closer to you? Texas or California? Go to this list and do the order process up to the final payment stuff (order either one of the first two ones, the $22.**, whichever is closer to you), tell me how much it is (with shipping etc) and I'll get the money to you via PayPal, plus some extra 5 bucks or so (how much is that? Just the slowest method, don't care for speed) for shipping.

What's your PayPal email adress?

It's worth it imo. Very well written with absolutely zero commentary. Just lays out the facts, and does a bit of profiling of Eric and Dylan going back to their childhood, which I find fascinating.

Commaner Keen - it has nazi symbols in it.

Note: This was to bring attention to ID Softwares upcoming game Wolfenstein 3D which was about to change the world. Read the book "Masters of Doom" - the most amazing story you will ever come across.

Don't waste your time on that, if you've got the time and cash for that you should try out Twilight Imperium, which usually takes around 12 hours.

There's also Eclipse, which is a much better space civilization game.

http://www.shutupandsitdown.com/blog/post/review-eclipse/

(Amusingly, I find the actual Civilization board game adaptation to be quite mediocre. It's rather faithful to a few of the mechanics, though.)

(Below is a rough recollection of the new rules.)

And even if you want to play stupid Risk, buy the Legacy version - it fixes the rules so that winning involves completing three objectives.

The game has five factions, if I recall correctly?

At the end of each game, the winning factions gets to permanently name a faction, granting them a permanent boost in future games. The losers get to name cities on the board.

Additionally, after certain conditions are met (i.e., use too many nuclear missiles) there are sealed compartments in the box that are to be opened (and others, destroyed permanently) that permanently add new rules to the game, stickers to be placed inside the rulebook outlining the mechanical consequences of your actions.

The creator of the, "Legacy", series is making a spiritual successor soon.

I absolutely hate how boring the civilian's perception of board game are, (largely thanks to Hasbro, although they did create some of the originals) when
there's a massive, massive largely unknown world of modern board gaming that is just so much fun to participate in.

The website ShutUpandSitDown contains quite a few reviews and videos of this largely ignored space.

50 anecdotes in this book. Facebook group, another Facebook group, and more. And for the love of god, just google "circumcision psychological effects", there's tons of resources.

He makes note that some studies indicate that at the similar income levels there is a narrowing of the gap. But the gap is well documented. There is a huge academic literature on the gaps in cognitive test results, practically all of it converging on the fact that African American mean scores on cognitive tests fall below the white means by a tad more than one white standard deviation. There is in fact so much data on this now that we have meta-studies — studies of the studies: the one best-known to me is the meta-study by Roth et al. in 2001, which covered 39 studies involving nearly six million test-takers. That one standard deviation on cognitive testing has been so persistent across so many decades, an academic sociologist, calls it "the fundamental constant of American sociology" — it's like the speed of light in physics .

Wait, this is actually cool. But in a world where they make stuff like this, one does not need to: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Streetwize-SWBBL-Baseball-Steering-Wheel/dp/B001647UVG
