So many good things here :D

I had: biscuits and gravy, eggs on hash browns for breakfast, half of the quesarito, a Moolatte from DQ, some Cheez-its (Grooves White Cheddar, they are really good), some Peanut Butter Chocolate fudge, Chinese Buffet (that was terrible), Sun Chips, 2 pieces of pepperoni pizza, some Panera Mac and Cheese that they sell at Costco now, a vanilla cupcake, a bowl of Lucky Charms with tons of marshmallows, and a fresh baked croissant with jam. :)

Oh right on!
I bought a probiotic as well. I ended up going with Vibrant Health - Green Vibrance
I was doing some research on them and they were in the top 3 best green probiotics so I was like sure! Plus I did not want to pay $139 for Athletic Greens that Tim mentions in the book.
I could not find the PAGG subreddit. Do you happen to have a link?

That's an option. I actually get this stuff at big lots:

I pay $1.80 per box of 40 packets at Big Lots, which is way better than I get anywhere else, even Amazon. I've tried Skinnygirl liquid stevia and it's okay, easy to carry around and lasts a long time-- one small squeeze is plenty for a nice cup of coffee.

I use these ones. They have little vents in the top for microwaving. I've had them for about 3 years and they're still in pretty good shape. Clean in the dishwasher.

I like Bragg's apple cider vinegar, 1 part to 2 or 3 parts olive oil on salads.

If you like spicy stuff, you can also make pique with it really easily and it's good on practically everything.

I love bulgogi and kim chi!!!! I think Korean is a great match for slow carb,
not sure about that paste, maybe if you made it yourself -- but the prepackaged kind looks like lots of "no" ingredients,

Well. It happens. You are doing the right thing, add or change the measurements. You gain muscle without exercising what results in weight too of course.
I'm using this caliper: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000NN9SDO/ref=mp_s_a_1_5_a_it?qid=1463213265&sr=8-5&keywords=body+fat+caliper
And the Orbitape.

Also the included book is nice to know where to measure.(It's the same Tim mentioned in his book)

Just keep going next week will be big.

Breakfast and dinner can both be fairly simple meat/veggie/beans. If you're staying at a single campsite and have coolers to store your food, anyways. Beans can be come from cans or you can pack them dry and soak them the night before somewhere at your site and cooked in a pot over the fire. Carrots, zucchini, broccoli, and other veggies can be stored and kept fresh and are easy enough to grill. The carrots and zucchini can also be used in kebabs with sweet peppers and chicken or steak.

Lunch isn't as easy in my head. An insulated lunch bag with deli meat or cold, cooked chicken and snacking veggies like carrot sticks, cucumber, etc tossed with Tajin or something similar.

Also, instead of measuring weight, you want to measure body fat %. The following scale does a pretty good job of it. Weight fluctuates wildly. Fat % doesn't nearly as much.

I definitely have the Kindle version, and I do not have a summary version of the book.

source: I read the hardcover book and then the kindle version a few months later. I don't recall missing anything.

edit: here's the link for the kindle version FYI. The $1.99 version that you probably bought is by Tim Ferris - it says that it's a summary, and the book info says that it is only 22 pages long - perhaps be a little more thorough before purchasing?

u/sugemchuge · 3 pointsr/4hourbodyslowcarb

This is the one i bought and I love it. It's fast, accurate and has an insanely high rating on amazon.

u/_hooman_ · 1 pointr/4hourbodyslowcarb

This stuff is surprisingly good, and is keto-friendly, so I'd imagine it's fine for slo-carb too: carbquik

u/persp73 · 1 pointr/4hourbodyslowcarb

Kind of both. I have something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Nordic-Ware-Microwave-Omelet-Pan/dp/B000BO59WE

put the egg whites, eggs, red pepper, and flax in a measuring cup, beat with fork, add chopped spinach, divide among cooker trays, cook 5 minutes.

u/AlreadyThrownAway33 · 2 pointsr/4hourbodyslowcarb

OK, with the proviso that you shouldn't drink your calories, use sweeteners, YMMV, &tc.

I used this in combination with coffee and was totally satiated. Fifty grams of protein, 210 calories, and enough sweetness that I didn't miss not having lattes (I'm allergic to chocolate and lactose intolerant.)

To make it creamier you can add ice and nut milk, though it's not totally necessary. I would suggest using water chilled in the fridge instead of cold tap water, even if it's filtered.

You can always get one of these battery-operated things: Aerolatte at Amazon.

Quiet, portable, does the job pretty quick.
