Mmmm you're throwing that around like you have a social studies background, but you've clearly never hung out in a climbing camp.
You think every poor person has a phone?
You think national parks don't have cell service already?
If you're fortunate enough to travel to a national park, you're already somewhat privileged. The entrance fees alone are part of that. I'd suggest you pick up a copy of, "the great New wilderness debate" if you're serious about the topic. Here's a link even [gnwd](the great new wilderness debate https://www.amazon.com/dp/0820319848/)
I could not agree more.
I have all 4 of the Boy's Club comic books... including 2 copies of #3 so I can keep my signed copy in pristine condition.
Got them years before even most of the chans knew what Pepe's name was. They were always fun coffee table books and conversation pieces. They're also hilarious, and Matt Furie is a great artist. I have a more substantial print of his hanging up in my place as well.

I think Matt Furie is probably the only person saltier than I am about what's happened with Pepe. Don't stop fighting back! At least Matt has gained some ground in the fight here and there!
I know this feeling all to well this book helped me a great deal.

It's really good. My girlfriend was born/raised in Mexico and she loves it (and she's extremely picky about "Mexican" food up here in the US).
I think this brand is the best, it's a normal chorizo brand (makes pork and beef chorizo) that also happens to make a soy one, so it's spiced traditionally. In my experience it's the only soy chorizo that Mexican markets actually carry. The texture is on point, we make lots of stuff out of it.
Trader Joes has one but it isn't spiced traditionally, it almost tastes a bit like curry powder.

Well I'll be damned, it's a real thing.
I'm not sure what's more dystopian: the fact that this was made in the first place, or the fact that a profit's being made from fearmongering.
Either way, this wins the quality post award and is getting stickyed for a few days. Great post, OP.
water can be purified many ways, one of them is running it through a series of layers of particles much like you'd find in the ground. Let me recommend a book.
Who Rules The World by Noam Chomsky has a few chapters on this and other CIA Black Sites. Actually most of the book is about the US doing whatever the fuck it wants in the world because it can. Pretty dense read, but really interesting and eye opening stuff.
I felt this one was a pretty unbiased take
My biggest complaint is that while it's great at covering the scope of the problem, I think the last date it really covers is 1985. It could use an update.
And it's free on Kindle, so that's nice.

Trying to hijack top comment because all ya'll need to read Gnomon.
Reminds me of a book I just read: https://www.amazon.com/Pyongyang-Journey-North-Guy-Delisle/dp/1897299214
This was from his experience in NK years ago but sounds just like the propaganda that we associate with them now.
Suggested reading material: In Defense of Flogging, by Peter Moskos.

White supremacy might be over stating it. There are lots of articles talking about this and even a book
In Rutger Bergman’s Utopia For Realists, he outlines all the studies that have been done showing that Universal Basic Income works wonders. MLK was fighting for it and it got passed in the US House of Representatives twice before failing under the Democratic Senate because they were saying it should be higher. Then Nixon and that whole thing happened and we forgot about it.
Now there’s a Presidential candidate in the US that includes it in his platform, and that’s Andrew Yang. His implementation proposes $1,000 per month for every US citizen over 18 until they die.
As for the high rents, there’s a thing called NIMBYism, from Not In My Backyard laws, where people fight to have affordable housing not built near their own homes, because they’re worried it would lower their own home’s value. That’s generally a local thing, and not up to the Federal Government, as far as I’m aware, though they could incentivize and pressure states and local governments to relax the NIMBY laws.
Combine those two things and we could eliminate a lot of homelessness, which would enable the jobless to work and contribute more to society, I know most of them have jobs, but this would also enable people working shittier jobs to get better jobs.
Utopia For Realists is a dope book, that I bet a lot of people in this sub would find interesting. It’s funny, too.
Which format would you prefer?

I mean I think it definitely attacks working conditions and polices in America but it is a joke sign you can buy on Amazon
