It is astounding how folks can buy into baseless conspiracy theories, and claim them as fact.

George Soros, his brother Paul, and his father Tivdar were persecuted Jews living in Budapest during the Holocaust. Tivdar, a literal POW at the hands of the Russians in WWI, created purchased homemade documents that saved his family and several others from being shipped to Concentration Camps like Auschwitz.

He literally wrote a fucking book about it: Masquerade: The Incredible True Story of How George Soros' Father Outsmarted the Gestapo

Roseanne claims that Soros was actually fighting for the Nazis and turning in Jews, even though it is the exact opposite of everything we know and George was 9 years old when the war started. A thirty second Google search would prove this conspiracy theory to be a bunch of antisemitic bunk, but apparently Roseanne and her fellow Pedes only visit Russian disinformation sites.

Hell, I don’t even like the guy! Many leftists don’t! But to pretend your political adversary is a Nazi boogeyman that’s a part of the NWO is fucking ludicrous, especially considering her “God Emperor” has defended Nazis and White Supremacists in public, was given the Nazi salute by Richard Spencer, and was endorsed by the Daily Stormer almost the moment he announced his candidacy.

No, I don't have a degree in Sociology, which is why I listen to the people who do and have dedicated their lives to the subject.

>And what do you mean by "modern research in Sociology"?

Try:

Robin DiAngelo. White Fragility.

Caleb Rosado. The Undergirding Factor is Power. Toward an Understanding of Prejudice and Racism

You can read much of this one for free: Don Operario and Susan T. Fiske. Racism Equals Power Plus Prejudice. A Social Psychological Equation for Racial Oppression

Every definition is "made up," racism as an equation is the one that makes the most sense because it describes problems that go beyond crude racial prejudice. Also, as Fiske and Operario said, power has a direct influence on the nature of prejudice, and racial categories are constructed through societal power.

To use your poor rural folk example, imagine they belonged to race B and race A was oppressing them. Race B can hold racial prejudices against race A, however only race A can be racist because, beyond prejudice, they hold socioeconomic power through which they can create a system to enforce it. For sure, you could say "they're both racist," but considering the inequality between them that is a pretty useless statement. That's why academia has been increasingly adopting the new definition. Racism without power is incomplete.

Not like you'll actually read it, but it is easy to prove.

Then in 1989 Trump took out full page ads in NYC newspapers to advocate for the death penalty for 5 black and Latino teenagers accused of murder. He has made calls for their death as recently as 2016, more than ten years after they were proven innocent by DNA evidence. Source

In the 80's a former employee of Trump named Kip Brown had this to say,"When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” Source

In a 1991 Book Titled TRUMPED John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino says that Trump told him, “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.”
TRUMP HIMSELF CONFIRMED THIS STATEMENT

From the book Terror Factory: Inside the FBi's Manufactured War on Terrorism:

"When Barack Obama took office in January 2009, his administration provided some early indication that federal law enforcement would deemphasize the targeting of potential terrorists in Muslim communities and focus more attention on right-wing extremists and other growing threats in the U.S. In April 2009, the Dept. of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence and Analysis released a report titled "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," warning that violence could come from right-wing extremists concerned about illegal immigration, abortion, increasing federal powers, and gun control. Returning military veterans were particularly susceptible to recruitment into these extremist groups, the report said.

A political storm gathered following the report, with Fox News providing inspirtaion with exaggerated interpretations such as: "The government considers you a terrorist threat if you oppose abortion, own a gun, or are returning war veteran." U.S. Representative Lamar Smith, a Republican from Texas, accused DHS of "politcal profiling." A House Homeland Security Committee inquiry followed, whih the committee's then-chairman, Bennie Thompson, a Democrat from Mississippi, called "a GOP stunt aimed at embarrassing the new administration." IN fairness, three months before the right-wing report, DHS had released an assessment predicting increased cyber threats from left-wing extremists--but the federal government's concerns about extremists on both ends of the politial spectrum were cut out of the controversy, which became so great that Homeland Security Janet Napolitano withdrew the right-wing report and ordered it re-written."

Another book called Green is the New Red is all about how the FBI continues to target left-wing and eco groups as terrorists despite very, very few instances of violence, even going so far as to deliberately entrap them. Meanwhile, right wing terrorists are the most prolific terror group in this country.
