Theres a really neat Android App on the Amazon Store that allows you to run Quake, Quake 2, Doom, Jedi Outcast and a bunch of others on your phone/tablet.

Check it out:

It supports controllers and/or touch-screen.
Its actually really neat.

One of the hardest parts with audio recommendations is everyone has a different standard for what is acceptable. Like when someone says they don't want rin can sound do they mean not sound like it's coming from a $5 flat speaker put on something just to say it has sound or do they mean it needs a solid low and mid range to fill out the sound or do they mean they don't want their high end to clip? It gets even harder because often when asking that they don't actually know.

While I made a cheap recommendation it's not something I'd personally like. A prefered place to start talking about speakers involves about doubling that $50 budget to get something like the PB42X or these Mackie reference monitors which is actually starting to get you into decent sound.

I bought a backpack.

Though, I think it wasn't even part of Prime Day. It was typically $70 & got it for $20. I needed something that I can strap around my torso to hold in place as I ride my motorcycle around. Be nice to carry my clear visor around for when it starts to get dark as well as some water bottles & be able to buy some things while on the road.

Initially this is what I have been looking at, but don't want to waste my time if it wont help. I am sure it would still look good and its a reasonable price, however it is sporting a 4ms vs. 1ms which seems like a downfall

that's a little more than i'm looking to spend. remember, my total budget (tower case and everything) is probably going to be around $1,500, and even Nividia is asking $800 for the RTX 2080. and i don't want to skimp on the cpu or the mobo, either.

at least the PSU i bought last year (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K85X2A2/?coliid=I2Q2MFCUGKHS4D&colid=30WRC02Q8QHY9&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it) should be good enough for it already, which gives me a little more wiggle room. and while i do want to upgrade my monitor, that i'm willing to put on hold for a while.

for one thing, i want a bigger monitor. right now i have a 21.5", i want something like a 27".

For sure. My cousin is helping me. I ordered this which is almost everything you need other than the games.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01C6Q2GSY/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1511207579&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=raspberry+pi+3&dpPl=1&dpID=61MAJaKWgkL&ref=plSrch

My cousin said he's going to send a preloaded sd card with all nes, snes, and genesis games. I'll definitely let you know.

Battlefront II: Inferno Squad

I'm enjoying it. Does a pretty great job considering it has to make the "Nazis in space" Imperials relatable and not just the Big Bad of old. I picked it up thinking it would be nice to see the game characters' back stories before diving into the campaign. Thought it might give some extra emotional resonance, but who knows.

Amazon has this one that should work with Comcast, for $130. Of course I would check first with them to make sure it's compatible but it says certified by Comcast in the description.

I bought my own cable modem when I was with Time Warner Cable in New York (another DOCSIS 3 one), and saved the monthly modem rental fees, but I don't think I even have the option to use my own with AT&T.

I've been using one of these for about a decade. It's not cool looking, but it's simple, effective, and inexpensive.

My mic isn't hooked through it anymore, since that is USB, and I've never tried a 2.5mm headset (cell phone or XB360 style) with it, but I tend to choose form over function.

It would be nice if they did but if anybody really needed it you can use this controller on PS4 and Switch as well already through the use of adapters.

Here is a Switch one.
