I'd say if you can't get that, warm water and honey will soothe a throat if it's sore from overuse.
I have purchased this herbal supplement from Whole Foods. It comes with two types of tablets. The smaller tablets in the foil packet are passionflower.

I took some thick rope, a few blankets and/or sleeping bags, a pillow and rolled them up in a sheet and tied the rope to the steel beam that holds my house up, and it cost me the price of the rope.
