It's actually this stuff called "Quake Hold", which is reusable/stickable putty to hold stuff down during earthquakes and such. It's easy to ball up and manipulate to any size and it wont leave residue on the caps. Does a great job holding knick-knacks on shelves too =)

Thanks! Just careful setup/framing. Majority of my shots are at f/5.6, 100 ISO, and Shutter Speed between 100-250], with Lightroom for PP.

Using a D7000 w/ 50mm 1.8 on 12mm or 20mm Extension Tubes

Ha, it was bought as shot glasses from Amazon but used exclusively to store all random crap from ointments to fugus.
