Several days late, but I always forget to look here..we have this setup in our living room. In the middle I put her laugh and learn puppy and friends table, and she pulls up on that constantly. Off to the sides of the mat I have all kinds of toys in sections. So I have her bongo, guitar and tambourine in one section. Then blocks and donut cone in another. A little picnic basket filled with fake foods that she loves in another, a large vtech activity cube in another and some stuffed animals, a play remote and a reg remote without batteries sprinkled around. Then off by my cookbook shelf (she likes to go pull at the books and hit them) I have a blanket laid out and several touch and feel books laying on it. She goes over there and plays with the books often through the day. She loves those board books. We also have this big frog head thing with a bunch of balls in its mouth and lights/sounds/buttons over on another section of the room. When you press one button it makes all the balls bounce and spits them out, she loves to get that going and chase the balls around. Pretty much if she isn't on my lap or in her high chair she is crawling around exploring and playing with everything. She's basically busy the second I set her down after breakfast in the morning. Every couple hours I'll reorganize everything, because she drags toys and moves things all over. So I'll set it all back up and let her go to town moving it all around again! We read several books a day in her nursery and she'll bring me board books in the living room that we'll go through too. She likes to do a lot of independent play, but also loves when one or both of us get down on the mat with her and play! She plays a lot with the dog too, they play tug of war and sit and snuggle with each other.

I haven't thrown up yet either, but for peace of mind I bought these and have them stashed in various places: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051AZZCM I figured they don't go bad so they'll be useful eventually! :)

I bought this and it's really helpful for getting comfortable. Hubby and I have a queen bed and both fit just fine even with the giant pillow. It's not hard to get out of the bed either, I just flip the leg of the pillow up to hop out rather than climb over it.

I still end up waking up on my back about half the time (something I have always done and I have no conscious knowledge of turning over in the night), but it definitely helps me at least fall asleep on my side. I'm usually a stomach sleeper and had a horrible time trying to sleep before getting my pillow!

Edited to add: It looks like that particular pillow is out of stock on Amazon right now, but there are similar ones from other companies, and I'm sure other places probably carry it.

I'm nuts about it! Especially all the storage space under the changing table! I actually didn't know the crib came with its own changing pad until after I opened it, so I had already bought this one that I had planned to use there, and so the cover is from the same manufacturer (I wanted to ensure it would fit). Since the changing pad the crib came with is pretty small compared to the one the cover is meant for, there is a bit of loose fabric on the underside, but it still fits okay. I figure I'll have to find another place for the other changing pad unless I want to go through the hassle of returning it!

I really like Expecting Better. It has eased so many worries I had - I'm even back to drinking a cup of coffee per day, and I'd been too nervous to do it before.

Stay away from http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Illustrated-Pregnancy-Companion-Week/dp/1592333583 though. It had me sobbing within the first 10 pages over (a totally overblown and overstated) fear of an ectopic.
