I've been eyeing https://smile.amazon.com/WeatherTech-Seat-Back-Protector-Organizer/dp/B07B4PQW8C/ haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

I've purchased the floor and trunk mats from weather tech and love them. These don't look like the same custom fit, so it's likely to not be the 'better than OWM' quality I've come to expect. At the same time, seems like it would stop my kids kicking the shit out of my seats with dirty feet.

In the front middle I have this little trash receptacle:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077VGYFM2

The tabs don’t fit into the elastic strap directly, but I use the elastic strap to hold a flat piece of cardboard slightly shorter than the receptacle, and the tabs grab onto that. Holds it in place nicely and looks almost built-in. And the container slides out easily for emptying.

I appreciate the suggestion! If anyone else is interested, it’s only $8 on Amazon.

Welp, hop to it! I would have been super screwed if I didn’t have a menagerie of machines to borrow from. Hundred bucks..

Amazon also has a Deka 18L group that should be fine too. Deka was original maker of my battery.

I got the ODBLink LX and it works great.

I use this in the top left corner of the wind shield. I drive about 25k a year so I need something easy to use while driving. I don't charge my phone in the car though. My s8 can last all day.

I came across a possibly cool solution for this.

Before installing the stickers, get some clear film like this

https://www.amazon.com/VViViD-Clear-Protection-Choose-Including/dp/B01LZYSXZJ

Apply the sticker to the film, and then trim the film closely around the sticker. Then, apply to the car.

When the time comes to remove it, the film will peel off the car. There may be a theft issue, but someone would have to know that the film was under the sticker.

I’ve mounted mine at the bottom of the left pillar.

From the driver’s position it keeps my phone lined up with the pillar without blocking my view. Also let’s me look at Maps (which I use a lot) without having to look down.

I’m using the iOttie Easy One Touch Wireless: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0754NDNT8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_LxYTCbBGSBDEV

Edit: Why am I being downvoted for this reply?!

Not that I recommend it, absolutely give BMW a call but I think you'd want something like this

If you do decide to code, here's the ODB I purchased. https://www.amazon.com/OBDLink-Bluetooth-Professional-Grade-Diagnostic-Performance/dp/B07JFRFJG6

Another point I'd make about getting a 2015 now. When I purchased mine, it still had three months left of BMW warranty. I immediately took mine to the dealer and got any warranty work done. You won't have that option with a 2015 now. Just food for thought. I'm out of warranty and not worried. It's a very well made car.

I got this iOttie suction holster and attached it right next to the hidden port. Held my pixel XL phone quite well

Seatbelt

This thing is a game changer worth the $8. Just keep the car running in park and put it in drivers side seatbelt. You can run the ac all day if you want.

It's easily adapted to a normal household style outlet, but won't charge the car any faster than the OUC can charge the car. This is the adapter needed. https://www.amazon.com/Conntek-14103-TT-30P-Plug-Adapter/dp/B00268WS72

Here is a wall holster for the handle.

You can search "J1772 Holster" on amazon and you'll get quite a few hits.

Didn't want to stick it anywhere on the wood..
The end is a magnet so my current case with a magnet already stuck on, works just fine with it.

Will give it a test when I drive over bumps etc. Initial reaction is that its sturdy and magnet is not half bad.

I bought this one to use with the 120 volt EVSE that came with the car.
