For the bike pump I would recommend these conduit clamps and some ati-tamper screws . It will not fully prevent theft but it will act as a deterrent. You could also add some solar lights like these to help light up the area so a biker could fix there bike at night and help deter theft.

I use these 5.11 TacLite Pro pants in TDU Green. Despite the "tactical" branding, they were actually designed for climbers, so they are perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities. On top of that, my current pair has lasted me 5+ years of active Scouting, they dry faster than jeans, and they have plenty of pockets for gear, without looking ridiculous. They are my go to for Scout pants, hands down.

You may be inclined to pick something like the sandals that /u/CHAINMAILLEKID linked. However, I've always been predisposed to a closed toe water shoe apart from an open because I'm rather prone to stubbing my toes on everything.

Something like this for instance will also give you some more ankle support that will come in handy for the kayaking badge.

Also, generally "Boat Shoes" mean a shoe with a non-marking sole that can handle water without a problem, like these although I wouldn't recommend them in this situation. Just because they can get wet, doesn't mean that they should. Plus they require regular maintenance(oiling) if you want them to last.

Here's mine:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000W32PIK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_E2NgDbCAQAV15

I've had mine for 28 years and when my son crossed over, I got him one.

I'm fairly certain that in 22 years I'll hand mine to him and he can hand his to his son.

They are bomb proof.

On a side note, you should see a Bear Scout batoning wood for the first time. Their facial expressions when they first grasp it, it's like it's them against the world in a fair fight.

I bought the SOG throwing hawks for my pack. They have replaceable paracord grips and are very small and light for the younger scouts. They even come with a sheath for easy carrying. They are also metal and one piece, so you don’t need to worry about the heads coming off as they age. Have fun! Use proper range rules!

Ok. Let's say that someone has ankle jewelry like this or this (but not stretchy). They wrench their ankle and it starts to swell. The person thinks it's not that big of a deal and keeps walking on it. Later they present with a black/blue foot and the anklet embedded in the swollen ankle. What would you call that?

Crush syndrome or compartment syndrome, either one could result.

More like screen door screen :

Hoping this isn't an affiliate link:

You can DIY this with METAL screen. No fiberglass, no anything else. metal only. I bought mine on amazon, likely this one.

Not a big fan of a knife with a concave belly for any of the tasks you need in scouting. I think a drop point or scandi will see you much better. I'm a big fan of either a Morakniv or (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002CC6BPM/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468198196&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=Condor+Tools+%26+Knives&dpPl=1&dpID=41dcdqwt7QL&ref=plSrch)[this].

I just got back from a whitewater river trip, and paid special attention to what the guides who'd been doing the run half their lives decided to wear.

This was the style of shoe that almost every guide wore

I brought one of those types of shoes you linked, because I'd never had any before and thought they'd be great for a river run, but after the trip I feel like I just wasted my money.

We have a set of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYOLZMM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

they are small and bright and cheap.. we still have propane lanterns, but the boys seem to dig these out of the trailer first.

My son is on that now. I would think you'd always want closed toe. He's wearing these - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071ZZGHKS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Some pics I've seen him in sandals, some barefoot.
