I second getting some webcams. I purchased Yi Home Cams from Amazon and they have been great. It sends an alert to my phone when it detects motion, along with a 6 second clip uploaded to the cloud (for free). You can also subscribe to their enhanced cloud service which will send all recorded video up to their cloud servers.

My cousin bought a Blink camera and mounted it in an unreachable location on the exterior of his house. Although pricier than the Yi, it runs on batteries so no need to worry about running power - the battery supposedly lasts up to 2 years. Like the Yi, it captures video and sends an alert to your phone when it detects motion.

Of course with both, you will need an active internet connection with wifi.

You may be better off buying a laserjet printer. I have a Brother laserjet that I bought when I was in nursing school and it was an invaluable resource. You can find toner cartridges with high yields for relatively cheap, too. Here's a link to the model I believe I have. Best of luck!

Yeah, I supposed I just need to get a better pair. Mine died a couple weeks ago (or at least the right channel did), so I'm listening to everything in mono, which is fitting from a Monoprice headset, ha.

Any recommendations for decent studio headphones that don't break the bank? I was thinking of getting a cheap pair of Sennheisers but these Edifiers seemed to get pretty good reviews.

Basically, they want to have their own turf. They walk around constantly rubbing their scent on everything cat-height. Indoors, this means 2+ cats will be in an eternal cold war over your house, which is stressful. Their food and litterbox are especially personal. If they're siblings from the same litter, they can stay together and be happy with it, but any other time they just want their own space. We humans tend to project our own feelings/wants/etc onto them (as we do so many things.) Even if it appears, to our eyes, like they're playing with each other or getting along, they usually don't see it that way. Cat Sense takes a scientific look at cats, but it can get pretty dense at parts.

This sounds nutty, but I got an air-couch on Amazon for my temp apartment. And I love it. https://www.amazon.com/Intex-Inflatable-Corner-Sofa-101/dp/B00OCBZX50/ref=sr_1_6

Zero's recycling program will send you a coupon for $10 off your next online filter purchase for every 2 filters you send back by standard USPS shipping.

I can also recommend something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Woder-10K-DC-Capacity-Connect-Filtration/dp/B00MPGRUNW which can last 2-3 years. I find it very convenient for getting the ochre color out of my tap water and really enjoy not having to deal with a filter pitcher any more.

Currently : PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, EverQuest progression server, Fallout 4, World of Warships.

From about 1997 to 2007, I hosted LAN parties at my old house and apartment. Great fun to have 10-20 folks show up and spend 20 hours just gaming.

Last rig I built was for a cousin's christmas present.... As soon as some personal things shake out, I'm going to build a new rig for myself and another cousin. I'm not a fan of watercooling quite yet, some of the aircooling heatsinks are about the same efficiency.

We actually got him this for Christmas which isn't terribly large and he hasn't been given the chance to play with it yet, but should be fun in the hotel hall since it's not very big: http://www.amazon.com/VTech-Smart-Shots-Sports-Center/dp/B00KG3WYI2

Anytime! I've got a ton of books and tend to focus more on the technical aspects of cooking, so if there is an area you're interested in I can, more than likely, point you in the right direction.

I do have to ask, just to make sure, you do have a copy of Harold McGee's On Food and Cooking; The Science and Lore of the Kitchen right?

I recommend the book Downtown: Its Rise and Fall if you are still interested in urban history and planning. As we revitalize our cities we can learn a lot from the past.

I keep Combat Wipesat my desk, and they've been great. However, I have a short commute; they may not satisfy your need.
