Well if you like the sound all I use is a rockband mic for vocals, guitar running through a Digitech Black-13 peddle that goes straight to my PC with a guitar to USB. lol About as cheap as you can get. I would personally rather mic a good amp to get feedback and use an nice interface for everything but,I don't have on available at the moment. So you can get by with the cheapest stuff possible but, Id say pick up a recording interface and some mics. You can get bundles pretty cheap. Something like this to start out maybe.
You can even use the built in mic in a laptop or a $5 USB webcam/mic. May have to get exploratory with placement in the room, but you'll end up with an original product if done correctly.
For super cheap, you might could try something like this: https://www.amazon.com/TONOR-Condenser-Microphone-Podcast-Computer/dp/B01142EPO4/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1522949422&sr=8-10&keywords=usb%2Bmic&th=1
What exactly do you mean by setup?
If you like pedals, this pedal I got a pretty good black metal sound out of. When I have time, i you like VSTs I'll look on my computer for the one I use.
Something I've found really useful for black metal is the Marshall mini-amp. Get all the distortion you want out of pedals and the amp, run it through the mini-amp and you can get a pretty lo-fi sound.
I use a RAT pedal and a Spider IV with my mini-amp for black metal usually.
Here ya go. Amazon also has Hideous Gnosis I, Glossator: Black Metal Theory and Practice, and a few others. No luck yet on PDFs, but there are a few sites out there that have used copies for pretty cheap.

Well I was thinking about buying this. Do you think that'll be good enough?
Edit: I also found this one
Many years ago I was gifted True Norwegian Black Metal by the girl I was seeing at the time. For years I have been saying I planned to de-bind my favorite images and frame them.
I've finally started.

Something like that?
I'm doubling Black Metal Evolution (and all the books of Dayal Patterson) and Slayer Mag. This is an essential reading within the topic. There's Isten Mag reprints (Don't Break the Ghost) but it's mostly sold-out everywhere.

As for less essential things, I really enjoyed reading Black Fire Death https://www.amazon.com/Blood-Fire-Death-Swedish-Extreme/dp/1627310673. As for me it's a really well-written story. It's not focused on solely Black Metal though and it doesn't cover the whole story of the represented bands. Instead it tries to shed the light on the most interesting moments of their history.

If you're curious about Finnish Black Metal, there's a book The Devil's Cradle https://svartrecords.com/product/the-devils-cradle/.
Black Metal: Beyond the Darkness is also worth checking out; covers a lot more than LoC.
Probably everything you want to know has been written in this book https://www.amazon.com/Black-Metal-Evolution-Dayal-Patterson/dp/1936239752
Until the Light Takes Us
Lords of Chaos
Try buying a Scarlett solo interface and some kind of vocal microphone for your voice (No Shit) and use a drum machine heres my setup:
https://www.amazon.com/Focusrite-Scarlett-Audio-Interface-Tools/dp/B01E6T56CM
https://www.amazon.com/Shure-SM48-LC-Dynamic-Microphone-Cardioid/dp/B0002D0HY4/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1519867899&sr=1-1&keywords=shure+sm48

If you are looking into black metal and it’s ties to ecology you should probably read Melancology (https://www.amazon.com/Melancology-Black-Metal-Theory-Ecology/dp/1780991894)
http://www.amazon.com/Teethed-Glory-Injury-Altar-Plagues/dp/B00BZBIAU0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1375284691&sr=8-1&keywords=altar+of+plagues
A book, not a documentary, but if you haven't already read Lords of Chaos, I highly suggest it.
