HyperX is good. I don't know much about mice/keyboards for non FPS games but I use a Logitech Proteus and it looks like a mini spaceship. So if you want a space ship mouse there you go. I'm guessing something like this would be nice for blizzard games http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G510s-Gaming-Keyboard-Screen/dp/B00BCEK2LU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1421705194&sr=8-3&keywords=mmo+keyboard Logitech makes great stuff. As for a mouse im sure it wouldn't matter TOO much.
If you're into book reading, read:
The Last Guardian, Its Warcraft 1 in Book form and is generally though to be one of the best Warcraft books.
Lord of the Clans, I liked it, some don't. Its Thrall's origin story.
Those are really the only two books you might want to read before playing Warcraft 3.
Warcraft 3 does kind of assume you just know stuff. "Illidan betrayed us he is EVIL!!!!!" It never explains what he did though, like AT ALL.
If you like reading and want to know what Illidan did for people to think him evil as well as know who the main antagonist of the Warcraft universe is read the War of the Ancients Trilogy, which takes place 10,000 years before Warcraft 3. Malfruoin, Tyrande, and Illidan origin story. There are other big characters, but non that are in HotS at the moment. (GIVE ME MAIEV BLIZZ) The books in the Trilogy are: The Well of Eternity, The Dragon Soul, and The Sundering
There is two versions of War of the Ancients Trilogy. For some reason the made a 2nd version where 3 random characters from the current point in the game were sent back in time 10,000 years into the war. The 2 versions have the same story arch and every major event that happened in the first version happened in the 2nd version. Most people seem to like the 2nd version better. So beware of 3 random characters you won't know if you read that version.
If you want to know the Orcish Horde origin story read Rise of the Horde, takes place before the first Warcraft game.
I gave links to PDF versions of all the book I mentioned. You can buy most of them, but some of them are not printed anymore so you stuck with paying $1,300 to get a copy of The Last Guardian used off Amazon. I'm not joking Which is why I gave PDF links.
Though to be honest Warcraft 3 is very good story on its own and you'll enjoy it if you have not played any of the prior games or read any of the books.
I've been meaning to play Warcraft I & II, but Warcraft III was my first Warcraft game when I was a kid in 2002. I've watched cinematics from other Warcraft games though, and from what I've seen, Warcraft III has the most diverse amount of likable characters. I'd go with Warcraft III to see if the game-play and lore is in your interests.
Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos has four (five if you count tutorial) campaigns:
The expansion to Reign of Chaos is Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
This has three campaigns, and one bonus campaign (Which is not part of the main storyline, but still lore filled):
I highly recommend you check out Warcraft III as I believe it's a great way to introduce you to the series and the universe, as the storyline is not dependent on any previous knowledge of the game series, and has many memorable characters with different motives and personalities, while not being overly complex to confuse you.
If you want to play Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, check out the links I have provided. Apologies in advance if you are in a different region then EU, I am sure you can redirect yourself to your regions store page. x)
P.S. If you want both, I'd recommend you check out Warcraft III: Gold Edition, as this contains the base game & expansion. Good luck and have fun!
Don't let all these people get to you! Just buy it on Amazon. Hope this helps out!

Every company tries to psychologically manipulate you -- from any advertising you see, to how aisles are arranged in a store, to the product selection, to the pricing.
You probably saw Jim Sterling's video on The Addictive Cost of Predatory Videogame Monetization which goes through all the psychological tricks video game makers use -- what he didn't tell you is the vast majority of them are just applications of common sales techniques or techniquies from other industries.
Or maybe you saw the original Tribeflame CEO video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNjI03CGkb4
"Hook, Habit, Hobby" for example is just the Hooked framework applied to video games.
