Yes its a thing, none of these come with that feature. Its usually reserved for the much more expensive drones like the Phantoms, the inspires, etc. GPS units alone are going to add a few dollars to it, let alone the flight controller to controll it, etc.

UDI 818A HD+

I've had my eye on this one (they have it at MicroCenter in Columbus too) for a while, and my friend has it and loves it. Its pretty reasonably priced. The two big things are headless mode and a return to home feature.

For headless mode, its hard to tell which is the front and back of a quad when it gets WAY up there. And navigating it one way or the other can be difficult. What headless mode does is, you activate it on the ground, so it orients itself where forward will be forward to your current direction, left is your current left, etc. So when its realllly tiny up there, you want it to go left, just press left instead of trying to figure out orientation. It can be helpful.

The return to home feature works fairly well. BUT. You set "home" when you take off, and im pretty sure this one is a button you hold to make it come back. Now, if it gets out of range, return home doesn't work. Playing dangerously and flying it too steep, it won't work. If the winds are too high, it can mess with it too.

I'm pretty sure microcenter had these guys in stock, but I don't see them on the website. I thought they sold the regular UDI 818A, for like 50 bucks, and then a 75 dollar upgrade kit, but im not seeing that on the website. There are two versions, the UDI 818A HD+ and just the 818A which doesn't have the Return to Home feature. So if you go with that one, be careful.

I think that's the one I would suggest for what you want. Its a well rounded drone. It has the return home feature on it. My friend says its pretty sturdy too. You certainly can't go wrong with a Hubsan or a Syma. Hell, you could buy 2 or 3 of those for the price of this. But I think this might last you a little longer before feeling the desire to upgrade big time.

I had an issue with Fox (and a bit of issue with ABC). I tried a few antennas until I hit on the one below. From what I was advised, certain antennas work better for certain frequencies. So, even though this one has a shorter range, it is better for my area. If you still have one of those antennas around - and the tech# to go with it - give them a call and have them walk you through what might be the best option for your situation.

Are you looking just for a cap or are you looking to replace a winter hat as well? This is at least close to the one I have that I got in a sports store in my mall. The helmet is the new shade of orange but the stripe and fuzz at the top hark back to the old, simplistic design I love.

If you're a snapback man, I got a Brownie the Elf (GOAT mascot) Snapback at Lids (similar to the one with the orange bill made for youth) but you can't really go wrong with any design, especially if you can snag one for $20 or less.

I did. I got the heat sealed letters and it came out really good. Shipping/delivery time is a bit lengthy 2-3 weeks so get on it now if you're gonna do it, but definitely worth every penny. Get something like this to hold it on. I also got mine stitched on at a local dry cleaners so it wouldn't come off ever.

There is a size guide that helps on the left. I got a medium since the smaller sizes seem like they may be a different looking product. I think it fits him pretty well.

If you want to be super pissed, read False Start by Terry Pluto. It goes through the systematic fuckery that happened to Cleveland between '95 and '99.

We were paying the penance of the Jags and Panthers doing well. So the NFL super overreacted and fucked us. On purpose. That, and they wanted to wring as much blood money out of the new Cleveland owner as possible.

What pained me the most was the optimism that Pluto had looking forward (from the book's publishing date of 2004)... and a decade later, that optimism has yet to be validated. But this year's looking to be the right trend!

We're talking about gross mismanagement of this team since the freaking return. How do you turn things around after more than a decade and a half of stupid? This is probably the first time in the history of the NFL that an organization with zero roots, whose set-up was a cautionary tale (and certain aspects of which I believe were deliberately not repeated for the team that followed), that was managed into the dirt for 16 years by some of the biggest headcases in sports, actually gets turned around (if it ever happens).
