Sorry!
Lower is Anderson Manufacturing AM-10 for $50(normally $80) at Turners. They had them on sale at their new Palmdale location for $30 but they wouldn't let me do that. I know guys in here like Aero but I didn't want to spend that kind of money if I wound up screwing it up.
Upper is an Palmetto State Armory 18" Rifle Length stainless steel .223 Wylde with the nickel boron bolt carrier group and charging handle. I got it on sale(I've come to learn everything is on sale at some point over there) and it was even out of stock at one point. Link
Lower kit is DPMS from MidwayUsa. Link
Muzzle brake is also from MidwayUSA. It's apparently a loud as shit. I'll find out for sure tomorrow, I hope. Link
Stock and buffer tube are Thorsdsen customs. That was a recommendation from someone in this group and I'm glad they said something because up until that point, I was only familiar with the Gen II's and that was really off putting to me. This Gen III is legit. It's an A2 length with A2 buffer tube. I had a rifle length question so I called their support and wound up talking to Alan Thordsen himself.
I really like seeing a businessman that involved in his company. He even made the installation tutorials himself. Link
Optics are some cheap/gimmicky brand from Amazon. I don't know much about optics and not sure how to satisfy all the versatility I'd like to milk out of this AR so it's a 2.5-10x scope with a mini red-dot on top. My wife and I have training at Forward Assist in April and I'm hoping this will suffice. I typically like to plink with my wife around 25-50 yards and compete against my dad at 150-200 so I'm not sure how to satisfy all those conditions other than to experiment. Link
EDIT PSA also had Magpul BU sight set on sale last week for $50 and I was lucky enough to get in on those but they haven't showed up yet.
Knowing what you know now, make sure to get a good safe. The most important thing is that it can't be picked up and carried off - so bolt it down. And don't go for just the cheapest one you can find. This one is my favorite. Its very heavy duty and will keep anyone from a quick smash and grab. Mechanical combo is good because no battery to worry about dying on you in the worst possible time. The one downside is that this style of combo lock has a small number of combos so someone really dedicated could spend a few hours and brute force the combo.
Also note that most safes are not really "safes" and can easily be cut into with a grinder. If you get a rifle safe try to put it somewhere that people don't see easily, and is in a hard place to access like inside a closet where they can't get good leverage or to the sides of the safe.
EDIT: pointed out that I was sounding like a simple Stack On gun cabinet is not enough. That should be fine. You just need to make sure the gun is secure from the kid and if you leave it at home, would take more than 5 minutes to get at for a burglar. The point I meant to make about the "most safes are not really safes" is that a cheap stackon cabinet is about as secure as any safe you're going to spend a couple grand on. For a safe/cabinet/lockbox that can be picked up you still want it bolted down.
I’m looking to do the same for some Sig mags, I went at it with my drill and some standard bits and I feel like the mag was just laughing at my efforts. I’m pretty sure something like this (https://www.amazon.com/Hole-Saw-Rocaris-High-Speed-Stainless/dp/B07H8VGNSH/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=metal+hole+drill+bits+for+steel&qid=1554262619&s=gateway&sr=8-5) will he needed to drill out a nice hole. Then a good bit of polishing the edges to ensure smooth function. I figure it’s worth a shot.

12ga Maverick 88 Heat Shield:
Same one but cheaper, can’t remember the original eBay seller, but it’s the same type model and material. It’s plastic or polymer but it definitely makes it look great! It’s a joy to hold the barrel without burning your hands which is very handy.

You don't need a fully mounted table vice, but it would make it easier. There are cheap table clamp on vices they are $20 or so, they will work, but they have more play.
And by glock tool, theres a cheap looking glock take down tool on eBay(looks like a punch with a handle).they're a couple dollars on ebay, link for reference. I use this tool pretty often because it's a good size, but roll punch tool is much easier to use, and more unlikely to scratch your lower.

yes. i also got mine from amazon.
the parts that need improvement are discussed in the customer reviews near the bottom of the page. powder dispenser and scale are the items i remember getting lukewarm reviews. those parts are cheap to upgrade. so no worry.
you need dies for the caliber that you are reloading.
for some reason i have 2 sets of .223 dies. i know i purchased one, i'm not sure if the other came with the kit.
i purchased a 2" bench top cut off saw [$32]
a jig to cut my cases [$13] 300blk
a case length guage [$10] 300blk
ammo loading tray [$7]
dies [$39] for each caliber
digital caliper [$16]
frankford scale [$32]
frankford bullet puller [$16]
tumber kit [$75]
i spent a good month or so on /r/reloading before i actually purchased anything.
i asked questions and made a shopping list.
those guys are very helpful
research what you actually need for the caliber / bullet grain you want to reload before you buy anything.
double and triple check what powder you need as well. it could save your life.
i kinda over did it with supplies
haven't opened half the boxes yet.
I don't know how much stuff you're trying to carry but ill link the one I have below. Its basically my EDC bag, I don't like my pockets stuffed all day long. One side has an organizer section, pens, power cables, leatherman, flashlights. The middle section is advertised to hold an iPad but I was able to fit 3 boxes of 120rd American eagle 5.56 in there. The pistol carrying side is all Velcro so you will need some type of Velcro holster and a small TSA type lock. I can fit my 5" Xd with tlr1 and about 3 mags. My wife calls it my purse but I love the thing. And being from Ca about the closest I'm gonna get to CCW for the time being.

I recently got into reloading as well. As for a reasonable kit to learn on, I got the Lee Precision Classic Turret Press Kit and definitely recommend it. It has everything you need to start reloading and at a much cheaper price than the competitors. Don't get me wrong, there are better quality presses out there as stated above, but I think the Lee press has tremendous value. All you need in addition to this press is a set of dies and your components.
I reload 9mm, 223, and 308. While I don't save much (if any money) from reloading versus buying cheap ammo, I get much higher quality with reloading. I'm reloading 9 for about 17cpr, 223 for 22cpr, and 308 for 47cpr for the raw materials. You'll be saving more money next year because you won't have to pay the background check fee every time you want ammo.
Have fun!
Wow that’s so simple and effective. Probably quite cheap too vs buying different materials. The only issue is bending the bar into the shape needed. Not everybody has access to tools to do so without weakening the bend areas. I also only drive a compact sedan so won’t be able to fit stands like that to transport. Great for guys with trucks/suvs and the tools needed. Reminds me of the people who just went to their local hardware store and bought shephards hooks to hang steel targets.
Also saw these on amazon but unsure on how much weight it would hold on each hook. They also won’t fit inside my car to transport (55” tall). When I was shopping for setups I had to also consider everything fitting inside my car. Getting 4’ long 2x4s was already the longest item needed that would fit across the interior of my car.
I haven't clicked on the link either, but here's my thoughts:
Get a couple cases of MREs, a couple flats of bottled water. Use them on roadtrips, day hikes, etc, get a replacement case/flat when the first runs out. Maybe look into a water purifier and camping stove that can use multiple types of fuel such as MSR International.
A 5 gallon can of gasoline, or maybe a couple of them if you have need, be sure to add a stabilizer for long term storage. Use it for your lawn mower/small jobs so that it eventually gets used up and replaced.
Keep a can with a wad of 20s stashed somewhere out of the way, maybe dip into it time to time when you'd rather save a trip to an ATM and replenish it when you've had a good week.
Stock your medicine cabinet with basic first aid stuff: various sizes of band-aids, ace bandage/splint, space blanket, aspirin, ibuprofen, claritin, small scissors, water purification tablets. If you have medical needs, not sure if you'll be able to double up on your prescription. But also get a 1st aid kit, double up on your 1st aid supplies, and keep a portable version either in your car/truck glove box, or somewhere where you spend most of your time when not at home (office/work).
hands down one of the best "bang for your buck" range bag that i've had. all zips are lockable and is pretty well laid out and solid construction. i know own both the mid sized range bag and the larger rifle bag.

You can get a lee bench kit for like $120-140ish and it has just about everything you need to get started. Seen em on midway for $130. Amazon has one for $90 so if you have prime free 2 day shipping i think they even do free prime for college students too https://www.amazon.com/Lee-Precision-Anniversary-Challenger-Kit/dp/B00162RM3E
Ruger be all the way. Eats everything I've ever ran through it. But the biggest benefit is the mag loader called the cliploader
It says it works with buckmark mags but something about the mag shape didn't work right for me, maybe it will work for you. It definitely works with Ruger mags and can really help you burn through some .22 quickly!
I see Sootch using this foam X piece in his videos and thought about getting it also. Seems to be pretty handy for bench shooting with a normal sized mag:
