I have CMT 2A and my grip has always been weak. I get really frustrated about opening bottles and even cans still. I have managed to figure out to open cans with pull tabs by using spoons, pens, and even hair bands. As for bottles, my first tip is to keep in mind how easy a bottle is to open when you buy it, especially if it's a huge case of water with a million bottles with uncooperative caps. My other tips are: use the side of your mouth to open the bottle if you are desperate (please do not wreck your teeth!), invest in some bottle openers like this http://www.amazon.com/The-Pampered-Chef-Opener-Various/dp/B0011DV3ZQ (you need bigger ones for large caps like with gatorade), and lastly there are silicone jar openers you can use to open bottles. All of my suggested products can be purchased at Wal-mart for cheap.
