I use high temp grease like you'd use in a grease gun to lube bearings, the particular brand is "Mobil grease xhp 222" but any decent grease should work. here's a link to the stuff I use, that lil mini grease gun thing the show in the recommended items is super fucking handy too.

https://www.amazon.com/Multipurpose-Grease-XHP-SPECIAL-14-1/dp/B009VGEEM4

But I kinda go overboard and grease all possible contact points, like where the trigger bars ride against the frame, and I'll put a dab on the rear cage then smush it in with my finger so it can get worked into all the surfaces there and slicked everything up. Basically if any 2 pieces of metal are gonna touch I like them to be greased, the firing pin gets a tiny amount of oil, like 2 drops at most, and then I cycle the gun by hand a bunch and wipe up any excess.

Some q-tips and toothpicks make applying it a lot easier, that lil grease gun is a God send though, I highly recommend it.

And yeah the best part of the comp is how bad ass it looks, my brother was flipping out like "this shit looks like something out of metal gear" lol

This is what I use for a P-09 Suppressor Ready with that same light. Fits with plenty of extra space for mags.

It was less expensive when I bought it but I also liked that it fits perfectly in my nightstand, like it was custom fit. Just got lucky I guess.

Otherwise I like that it's mechanical, no electronic parts that could fail or batteries that could die.

I'm also a fan of the Vaultek biometric safes, but none of those would fit in my nightstand when I was looking to make my original purchase.

Good luck!

For those of you looking for a holster for your suppressor-ready CZs, be sure to check out Eclipse Holsters.

I had been looking for a OWB holster for my P07 for a little while, without finding much that I liked. I wanted another Bravo Concealment BCA like what I use with my G19, but it seems Bravo recently cut down the variety of models they support to instead focus on quick shipment.

Following that disappointment, I tried going to the experts in CZs at CZ Custom, where I ordered a Blade-Tech Eclipse. Unfortunately, this holster did not have enough clearance for the suppressor-height front sight, and had to be returned.

Next stop was Comp-Tac with the “CZ P-07 Slide” version of their International holster. Overall, this one really is a great deal - includes belt loops, paddle and drop/offset attachments, allowing quite a bit of versatility for IDPA or IPSC/USPSA usage. However, it just wasn’t the Kydex pancake style I really wanted.

While searching around for other Kydex holster makers, one of the top Google results was Eclipse Holsters. Their models included the P07, but no options for suppressor-height sights or a threaded/extended barrel. Determined, I submitted a message via their contact form asking about customizing their OWB holster for my P07, and received a quick response:

> Name: Knots

> Email: nautical@loldoxxed.com

> Subject: Holster for CZ P07 Suppressor Ready

> Comments: Would it be possible to get a OWB kydex holster made for a CZ P07 suppressor-ready model, with a .340" tall front sight and .640" O.D. X .720" long extended barrel? I am fine with either an open or closed-muzzle design.

> Yes. Put all this information into the notes section at checkout

> Joseph

I immediately hop back on their website, add the holster to my cart, and enter my comments during checkout as follows:

> Customizations for holster: – 10 degree forward cant – Clearance for .340″ tall front sight – Open muzzle end if possible, otherwise clearance for 640″ O.D. X .720″ long extended barrel

Three weeks later, it’s here!

I have to say I am very happy with the quality of this holster - fantastic retention (satisfying snap and literally zero wiggle when holstered,) great fit and finish, and of course built right to my specs I included with my order.

Disclaimer - Aside from being a one-time customer, I am entirely unaffiliated with Eclipse Holsters. I would, however, be more than happy to purchase from them again.

I did! I have the wheeler sight pusher vise and haven’t paid someone to do sights since I got it (on FNs, Sig, Glock, and now CZ). I wouldn’t want to try it without the vise but not a problem with it at all. Couple things to remember, with the front sight you have to drift out the roll pin holding it in a certain direction (I believe it’s right to left but honestly not 100% sure). The front sight sides may need lightly sanded to fit using no higher than 200 grit and equally on each side according to some people. Mine went straight in with zero play and no issues. Also make sure you put the roll pin back as it’s also what holds the barrel bushing in place. Apparently some people forget that step and it leads to tactical disassembly.

Here’s the link to the vise. Definitely worth the purchase imo if you plan on doing more than one or really want to do it yourself (also truglo voids the warranty if you use a hammer)! If you use it, biggest suggestion I have is to put painters tape on the sides of the slide that the vise contacts with to save your finish

Don’t rat me out but I moved my SP-01 tactical sights over to my P-01 . The ledge it provides plus trot vials makes it super easy to rack the slide off of clothes or just my off-hand index finger.

Should fit your PCR perfectly.

Nice piece! I have the SP-01 Standard model and absolutely love it. I too wanted thinner grips and got these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005ZENOBS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Other than having to sand/file the sharp top edges of the grips I'm happy with them.

If you want to do an inexpensive yet effective trigger job, check out Cajun Gun Works' SPGK1 3 Piece Spring Kit. It's only $17 but will essentially reduce your DA & SA trigger pull weight by half. That combined with an 11 lb recoil spring will make your great pistol a fantastic shooter.

Congrats on your new score. It's such a great gun.

I'd suggest the SHTF Gear ACE-1 IWB holster. I love mine - especially after the initial two week break in period. Great quality and comfort as well as a life time warranty and free belt clips for life. It spreads the load out really well and has adjustable cant and full access to the grip. http://www.amazon.com/Compact-Hybrid-Holster-SHTF-Gear/dp/B008P6Y6C4?tag=amaz98-20 Just saw that you ordered an Alien Gear holster.

I'd also recommend the CZ Custom aluminum checkered grips - I just got mine installed and couldn't be happier with them. They are grippy enough to keep your sweaty hands from slipping while shooting but don't snag on clothing or rub your skin raw if you are ccw and aren't wearing an undershirt. They are a lot thinner than the factory rubber grips and seem to allow my trigger finger a better reach and purchase on the trigger. http://czcustom.com/czgripsalcompactblackjaro.aspx The only thing that I don't like about them is the screws that comes with them aren't black and the original black screw for the rubber grips are too long for the thin aluminum.

Very nice sales pitch for the Tactical Sports.

Did some Googling around for ways to add a rail and actually found a response from CZ Customs: https://www.amazon.com/NcStar-Beretta-Accessory-Adapter-MADBER/dp/B0058DC520/ref=pd_sim_sg_3?tag=viglink128630-20

Very interesting. Would need to get a custom holster made for when I shoot the night shoots, but that's a problem for another day.

That makes me quite happy as I could go down the route of the Tactical Sports and might just end up getting this sucker: https://czcustom.com/new-firearms/cz-pistols-custom/cz-75-cts-ls-sao-9mm-black.html

Which means less tweaking and work for me - which is awesome.

Thanks for the info, forced me to do more research. I'll probably be happier with this route.

I've got the CZ branded cocobolo ones that I really love. Pachmayr has also started making some laminate grips that look pretty nice for the price.

If money's no object I'd go w/ the Nils personally, they always look super classy.

Sure thing!

CZ P-07 (obviously) with 5 magazines

The Wilderness Frequent Flyer Belt 5-stitch 1-1/2" (looks a bit more casual than the usual instructor belt people wear, plus it's a bit cheaper)

Bladetech IDPA Competition Shooters Pack(Pretty good deal for a holster and mag pouch. I own a Bladetech Nano as well sometimes substitute that if I feel like practicing IWB. Most of Bladetech's products are available for CZ's, which is a nice change from other companies who tend to ignore them)

Howard Leight Impact Sport Electronic earpro(Almost everyone wears these, basically the standard)

Columbia Royce Peak Cargo Pants(Most comfortable pants I've ever owned. I use them for both work and shooting)

Casio W-214HC-4AVCF(You probably don't care, just being thorough!)

u/bear552 · 1 pointr/CZFirearms

I got one of these https://www.vedderholsters.com/lightdraw/ but while I was waiting for it I used one of these which could be found locally https://www.amazon.com/Bianchi-Model-Consent-Slide-Holster/dp/B00S0ZHOUQ, it fit the gun surprisingly well. I suppose if you have local shops you could test fit a couple leather glock 19 holsters they're pretty dang close and abundant.

u/S0u1Fire · 1 pointr/CZFirearms

I picked up a cheap but fairly nice holster for my SP-01 to use at the range.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LYYG5K0/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_Zd4-AbHT8H9QQ

Haven't gone to the range with it yet nor ever used a holster before since this is my first pistol, but it feels pretty good with some dry draws.

u/mjohnson062 · 3 pointsr/CZFirearms

Thanks!

I added these grips (I've always been a fan of aggressive, G-10 grips) and I added these sights (I've put them on nearly every pistol I've owned, pretty much everything that isn't a Sig with factory night-sights).

Oh, and this light which I've also got on my Walther PPQ M2. The light has a Glock and non-Glock option; the Glock option fits the pistol perfectly.

I feel your pain. Bought a P01 from Cajun, had them do all the work i wanted done, waited what seemed like forever for it. First day I had it, I was adjusting and getting frustrated with the new holster I bought for it and inadvertently put the wrong screws into the belt clip. Holster feels comfortable so I shove the pistol in and hear the most sickening scraping sound. Right down to bare metal. I tried this stuff:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HE68ESI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm no painter, and i couldn’t make it look worth a damn, but the color is a pretty good match. Good luck.

u/tugrumpler · 1 pointr/CZFirearms

Some are but mine is pretty generic. I’m a lot more comfortable with it than with hammers & punches.

I bought this one based on reviews

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BD65Y4C

u/JethroFire · 1 pointr/CZFirearms

I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/Hoppes-Elite-Piece-Carbon-Cleaning/dp/B01B496H70/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=carbon+fiber+cleaning+rod&qid=1565757760&s=gateway&sr=8-3

There are probably better ones out there, but I use it for everything from my .22 to my M1 Garand.

Edit: Forgot to add: it's more expensive and harder to store than a sectioned rod, but with care it will last as long as your firearms do.

u/Mellema · 1 pointr/CZFirearms

I got the IMi Retention Holster from Amazon and then added the belt clip instead of the paddle. Holds my SP-01 and P-01 perfectly. I normally carry IWB with a Vedder Light Tuck, but for OWB this has worked well for me.
