I got this chain rivet tool/breaker, and it worked great to rivet the chain, but I would never trust it to break a fully riveted chain. You need an angle grinder to take the tops off the pins first. That said, if you've got the cash, go for the Motion Pro. Your friends will thank you.

As far as brakes are concerned, there are a lot of options, from Windex spray pump things to quick bleeders to vacuum hand pumps to air compressor vacuum pumps. Honestly, motorcycle brakes are pretty simple since you can reach the brake actuator and the bleeder screw together.

If crashed my fz6r 3 times now with more damage each time then this so I could help you here.

Your turn signal will pop back in. Just take something flat on the end and pop at the front lip until it pops back into place. Im 90% sure they design it that way. Otherwise the turn signal would just get ripped and smashed when you fall on it. Mine are OEM and seen many interfaces with the road and I assure you they are incredibly strong.

Your barend is perfectly fine. Besides reducing vibrations reducing damages is what they are for. The barend is 100% fine.

Uhhhh. Your clutch lever is ruined. /sarcasm Sounds like an excuse to get shorty levers. I have these. They should work for your fz07. Im sure its all the same everything. This is $22.99+$1.41 shipping for brake and clutch in silver. I have them and they are perfect.

Is that the radiator? So thats the radiator protector? Looks like it was designed to take damage so its fine.

Side of the tank? Thats just cosmetic. Looks bad but doesnt need anything.

Mirror scratched? Its fine. As long as it doesnt wobble (Mine took a parking lot at 15 and wobbles. I just havent tightened it down yet) its 100% fine.

Forks? Are you sure the handlebar isnt twisted? Everytime I drop my XT225 the handlebar gets knocked off alignment. I just put the front wheel to a tree and yank one side to straighten it.

Here Are Shogun No Cut Frame sliders. What this is is a plastic knob that sticks out the side farther then all your important bits so when it lands on its side its on your frame sliders and not your hard bits. Mine have saved my bike from decent damage when I spilled in a parking lot. I left that parking lot with my mirror wobbly and my frame slider scratched and nothing else. Oh and a bruised hip.

Now about your nerves. You will sit on it and think "Did it always ride like this? Feels wobbly is something wrong?"

Nope. Nothings wrong. Your just nervous. Ive slide my FZ down my gravel driveway at 20 MPH, stalled it and dropped it 3 times, and slid across a parking lot on it. It hasnt stopped. Get back on that beautiful bike and ride it. Its not yours until its different then everyone elses. Those scratches make it yours. No one else's FZ-07 looks like YOUR FZ07.

Now get out there and ride.

Well just my 2 cents, I bought the Torx speakers off Amazon, $70. 3M adhesive to stick it inside the helmet, they're super thin and have great bass for such tiny speakers. Then I just taped a cheap waterproof mp3 player to the outside of my helmet. I just switched from earbuds cause they'd always shift and fall out. But hey, whatever floats your goat. I could throw up a picture if you want to see what I'm talking about.

Edit: Here's the speakers, http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004I6HOQA/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1421344123&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40

I know there's a lot of Harley hate but this is exactly why I bought these Harley steel toed tennis shoes. http://amzn.com/B001O11EWM
I absolutely love them and they are great for hammering gears. They are great for wearing out on the town when riding. Hell I almost never wear my boots anymore.

I'm pretty sure they would, just rip the thing open before you give it to them. All you need to buy is a female MONO microphone extension Doesnt have to be extremely long, just enough to exit the casing on the contour. Buy whatever microphone that'll fit into the extention, like if you have a 3.5mm microphone, get a 3.5mm female extension. Cut it open and it should be just a red and black wire. Cut the internal microphone wires thats on the contour (should look like a battery, but actually a microphone on the front of the camera). Solder the wires together and youre pretty much done.

[Edit]

I bought this microphone

and I bought this extension

Best bang for the buck? Cheap Amazon bar ends for $10. Here. Same exact ones that they sell at my local bike shop for $90. I mount them under my bars like this.

This particular pair takes a little while to ship, so I usually order two because I break/lose them a lot. Cheapo is the way to go.

u/Whirrun-of-Bligh · 12 pointsr/CalamariRaceTeam

Woohoo, adventure squid! But seriously dude, for safety, you need to wear some of these.

u/seacappy · 1 pointr/CalamariRaceTeam

Yea I bought these. The trick is to make sure you twist them first prior to putting in your ear, this allows the earplug to go deep into your ear and expand to block out the noise.

It makes riding my motorcycle 100x more enjoyable honestly.

He had some fucking demons man, but holy butt-fucking-christ could he write.

Have this one on my Kindle, and it is a great read

u/griff2621 · 1 pointr/CalamariRaceTeam

I can deal with that...

I bought these a while back to put in my safe. They are amazing. I wonder if I could rig them up on a bike though?

I have one that I use on my rpha 10 helmet, works well and I love it. It does kinda have a weight effect on your helmet tho

I just use 2 of these. I can load my z1000 into the back of a 4wd pickup without high centering but some low cruisers will drag.

Pro: Strong, I've used these ramps to load side by sides and (small) pickups. I use them several times a week and they have held up great.

Con: Since they don't fold they are a unwieldy to store and transport. But IMO the folding ones aren't as strong.

Gonna reply this to both of you --

I have a drz with a mirror in the same spot. What you do is buy THESE. Take the bar end piece out and you have a mirror that can be mounted on the skinny part of your bars. Honestly the view from them is pretty shit and you cant really adjust em much, but I did it mainly for the look and its still good enough to see if there is something behind you

Cramp buster isn't a throttle lock, it won't hold the throttle open when you move your hand. It's supposed to rest on the heel of your hand to hold open the throttle. THIS is about the hokiest throttle lock I'd use.

u/mrrichardcranium · 1 pointr/CalamariRaceTeam

Oh totally worth it. that one was $30 and its made of metal so its pretty sturdy too.

u/stankovic32 · 2 pointsr/CalamariRaceTeam

Here are the ones I use.

Also, check this out man. Tight areas of the muscles around the neck can cause tinnitus, earache, migraines, painful jaw, etc. Consider getting these treated. Relief is immediate. I'm getting it done very soon. Let me know if you want some links with info, and I can find a place for you too!

Insurance covers it as physcial therapy.
