The ground is turf on top of concrete, it’s bearable, but I HIGHLY recommend getting a camping style sleeping pad. You can get a foam one that folds really easily for less than $30 bucks. If your budget is higher and you want an actual camping inflatable mattress, you can find decent ones for under $60 that you can use to camp outdoors as well. I’ll link some here in a bit.

Edit: (These two that I am linking are decent, but I’m sure you can find a better deal if you search. Either a cheaper or higher quality pad for the same price) Foam pad

Blackout Fabric Canopy!

It made such a difference during the daylight hours. It’s a breathable fabric that blocks out the extra light in the tent, allowing me to sleep much easier (without an eye mask).

Truly worth it when you need all the energy/sleep you can get at a fest like EDC!

Residual benefit- helped dampen the echo sound within the tents as well.

TSA luggage locks will work on amazon for the tents. You only need two, one for each opening. The zipper holes are big enough to allow the locks i used to go through.

We never got lights inside our tent last year so i can't even remember if there were any hooks to secure lights. I do remember that i was able to use my phone's flashlight and hang it above the tent and it would stay there.

I used this one last year worked like a charm.

This is what I used this year in my shift pod for comparison. It was a queen size inflatable matress that folded up into a sofa.

Here is a picture of it in sofa mode in the tent. I didnt take a picture of it as a bed but it fit fine and I had room on each side.

No, I have a gas griddle and kettle. Here is a link to the griddle, I am very happy with it. Plugging in small items into the power strip should be fine, but they do not recommend plugging in energy-heavy items like blow dryers and electric kettles since it could trip the breaker. That being said I think some people got away with it last year without tripping the breakers since it was colder than usual and the A/C wasn't working very hard.

We are most likely going to roll the dice with a generator. I have had good experiences with them in the past so I hope it hold up.

But, this is the 50' that was recommended to me in the RV community... Your RV will come with 25' already and no one reported needing more than that last year from what I read, FYI.

It would have to go in the checked luggage but a tent cot is hard to beat for comfort. They typically weigh 5-8 pounds and pack down to around 6 liters. Absolutely worth it but the 1st time assembling them is tough!

We bought a lockbox on amazon for $20, but I’m sure you could get one at your local store. The one we have can attach to the RV handle and has a 4 digit code. You'll need a collapsible wagon to haul your stuff from your car to your tent (seriously, the parking is super goddamn far away from the tents)

  • Allergy Meds (claritin, benadryl, etc) - Spring/Summer allergies nearly killed me last year.
  • Gel shoe inserts (especially for shoes that go with a costume)
  • BreathRight strips for sleeping
  • Travel Towel ( I recommend this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1TWZOI/?coliid=I2MX9ED16TWLWW&colid=2PFAM8FH65XSJ&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it It's super compact, comes in 6 sizes/ 7 colors)
  • Sunblock.

    For RV campers:

  • Swiffers/cleaning supplies
  • Paper Towels
  • Plastic cups
  • Rv-Safe Toilet Paper (that really thin Scotts Tissue brand with 1000 sheets, else it'll clog the RV)
  • Bottled Water (RV water may not be safe to drink, but fine for cleaning and showers)
  • Solar Shower:
    • RV's have a 14 gal H2O tank. Not enough for 4-8 people for 4 days. Fill at water station, sit on rv hood for 20 min., hang in your shower to bathe.

Colorful tapestries like THESE

They add some color and shade when needed.

You can use a 90L or 120L rolling duffel. If the terrain is too rough, at least you have shoulder straps.

I literally posted this thread yesterday:

You will need one, they will not have it there for you. The onboard may not be long enough.

Yes, buy one.
