I used this bottle cutter that scours the glass and then I dip it in boiling water and ice water to get it to break apart. Results vary. Every cut is different.

Juniper candles go either way IMO. I do a lot of applied food chemistry and juniper essential oil alone can smell and taste like the inside of an old medicine cabinet. Not everybody's thing.

If you're willing to walk away from the nature part, maybe Caraway (like mint+fennel) or Black Pepper.
