Lords of Vegas is an absolute blast. It's a property building game with a vegas theme to it. It's easy to learn, but there's plenty of opportunity for strategy. It plays in about 1 hour, and is a ton of fun. I used to play Carcassonne religiously, but Lords of Vegas is definitely taking up more and more of my gaming time.

[repost answer from your duplicate question, just in case it gets deleted!]
Wow, after doing a bit of research myself, I can't believe how much that sole expansion is. Most websites I went to were out of stock with no hope of getting new orders of it in. I know it may give you a bit of duplicates, but I'd recommend getting the Big Box 5, which has the Wheel of Fortune expansion in it.
I found it on amazon for 87.99USD (80.63EUR), while the Wheel of Fortune expansion by itself is 119.00USD (109.05EUR). These come with free shipping, if that's any silver lining with these prices.

If you're feeling adventurous, I also stumbled upon a marketplace where individuals are selling the expansion at various prices (currently it had one selling from Germany).

I notched the dividers with a hole saw to allow quick access to tile sets, otherwise they were about as tall as the tiles and made it difficult to get them out. I also ended up buying an extra case as I was one divider short to properly organize the expansions I've got.

The River frequently leads to a massive farm that creeps all the way around. It's a blessing and a curse.
There's a 12-tile expansion available that changes the Spring end of one of the River tiles and splits the field in two. For such a small change it significantly alters farming strategy.
Q1: Okay, so I will be buying Carcassonne Big Box 5 (2014) which contains:

Aside of Big Box 5, I plan to order also these:
Q1.2: I think I'll be doubling (tripling?) the River 2 somewhere... What is your advice upon such choice?
I want to buy all the major expansions, as listed above, maybe only except of 'the Catapult'.

Q4 - is this Carcasonne Big Box 5 also ' the new 2014 edition Carcassonne'? Or those are separate entities? I prefer the original tile artwork... Should I buy Older Big Box 4 then?
