I've only read A Still, Small Voice: A Practical Guide on Reported Revelations , but it was back around the time I converted a decade ago.
It really helped me understand the various visionary stuff I was hearing from Catholics, especially the Medjugorje folks, as well as all the folks that had pictures of Mary or Jesus in clouds.
He offers detailed advice on what to do if one experiences a vision, which also helps to understand how to understand others' visions.
For whatever reasons, I often forget about this book, but it is definitely one of my favorite books about Catholic spirituality.
My mother (who is named Monica coincidentally) has this on her book list. I don't know if she has read any of it or if she's even got her hands on a copy, but she's usually pretty good at picking out pretty reliable and good reads.

Rome Sweet Home by Scott Hahn.
I actually bought this book of Waugh short stories because I wanted to read “Out of Depth” and couldn’t find it online.
Yeah most of his short stories aren’t explicitly Catholic.
I kind of liked My Life with the Saints...a priest's story about how various saints influenced his life at different times.
Jesus: A Pilgrimage by James Martin, SJ
Josemaría Escrivá’s The Way is manly as it comes.
