Makeup: I am just getting into indies but really love the Silk Naturals products that I have tried. The organic lipsticks I have particularly loved. They are a great texture and good staying power. The are little, but at $5.75 each they are a great value. The small size makes them easy to put a few in your purse, and reapply on the go. They also have some great shadows, there are so many to choose from. They have tons of dupes, and have convenient product comparison pages for both shadows and lippies to show which ones are dupes for what. Very fast shipping also.

Books: Well I could go on forever here. Not sure your taste, so here are some I have loved:

• Makeup: I think their Fullmetal Collection is so colorful and bright! Alkahestry, Colonel, Equivalent Exchange, Day of Reckoning, and Fullmetal are pretty awesome look shades. That twinkle is pretty.
  
  For a full size shadow from Shiro it's around $5-6.
  
  
• Vinyl: Rush and The Beatles are must haves for a vinyl collection. Miles Davis too; that jazz music is super nice and smoooth. And of course, so MJ in that collection won't hurt either! ;)
  
  I think a vinyl on Amazon is $20-40ish depending on the record.
  
  
  
• Books: Books are a toughie for me! I used to read quite a bit, but after having to read 3-4 textbooks each quarter, reading isn't that fun anymore.

Hello there! I am new to C&C as of this past Wednesday but have been commenting, contributing and catnipped since joining so I hope I am still eligible! :) If it weren't for /u/starfishe telling me about this awesome sub, I probably would have never known!

Last month, one of my loving, adorable faced, very BAD, four legged children got ahold of my Sigma Highlighter brush and decided that his very expensive elk antler didn't taste as good as Mommy's make-up brush. I am pretty sure he and his brother were in on Operation: Destroy Mommy's Make-Up Brush because there is NO way Teddy can jump on the bathroom sink. If chosen as a winner, I would love to have my brush back and it shall forever stay locked in my drawer.

So, because biian's bag comment inspired me, I was thinking of some non-makeup stuff that'd I'd love to buy if, you know, I had no debts and an unlimited budget. These are things I love even though I don't have them :P

• This Rose-Gold watch from Fossil. I love Fossil; they gave good bags, but because I'm not into bags, I'd rather have one bag that can be professional if need be but fine for casual use too, hence why I'm not pining after one. That said, I FUCKING LOVE my Emory Clutch
  
• I drink coffee and tea, and currently have a double-walled Tervis tumbler to bring it with me in the mornings. That's fine for one cup. My office's office is swill, so I'd prefer to bring more and keep it hot. This thermos from Zojirushi is a thing of beauty is is also apparently a boss at keeping things hot for a long time. This was so much fun!

I'm usually light and girly with my daily makeup, so I decided to go completely different and try out a more "gothy" look. I did my eyebrows as usual because they are a little hard to manipulate, but otherwise I'm pretty satisfied. I went really deep on contouring and highlighting and used a pure white highlighter to make me look even more pale. I really wanted to add in some falsies, but I seem to have misplaced my last pair so...oh well. I'd love this brush from my list, which I believe comes under the £10 limit. If not, I love surprises!

This is my first time ever wearing a pastel lip. I bought NYX Power awhile ago, but it scared me! I'm much more of a dark lip girl, but I am loving Power. I also typically wear more subtle eyeshadow with winged liner, so today I did a smokey eye and skipped the liner. I'd love this brush.
