Oh lady. I'm glad you have a sweet husband and a tiny sprout to keep you company. Tears come so easily at this stage and while you have a reason, you also have a lot of hope and love around you. Have you ever seen this children's book? I think you would like it... (on phone so apologies for messy link)

This is the one that I've been using for 3 years: LinenSpa 100% Waterproof Mattress Protector

Our female cat likes to pee on our bed whenever something bothers her, and this has been an utter lifesaver. We went from pulling our hair out every time it happened (wtf do you do with a pee-soaked mattress twice a day because your male kitten grew into a big bully who terrorizes the female ?) to just being able to rip this sheet off and throwing it in the washing machine. We also like to put another fitted sheet on top of it for comfort. This thing is seriously amazing - 3 years of continuous use, and not even a hint of pee smell gets through (and I have a sharptastic nose).

I could be a salesmen for these waterproof sheets. So awesome :D

Yeeeppp... Some of the yogurt in my fridge is due after I am, haha :)

I've heard "put baby in whatever you're wearing plus an extra layer" about 1000000x since getting pregnant.

Having a car seat cover is also a good idea. We're getting this one: http://www.amazon.com/Jolly-Jumper-Arctic-Sneak-Infant/dp/B005LVNS4S - it has really good reviews.

My husband just bought me a Snoogle as we laid down to bed! I am sooooo excited! I should have it Saturday. I'm a belly sleeper and have had a lot of issues falling asleep so this will be amazing!!! I love him soooo much!

ww.amazon.com/PinkBlush-Maternity-Black-Coat-Large/dp/B00MXZT3IU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1411918541&sr=8-5&keywords=maternity+coat

I got this one in medium, I'm in xs/small maternity right now but I wanted it to fit up until 40 weeks. It's a bit like a short robe. The price was okay. It's probably not the warmest thing, but I'm in the midwestern part of the united states and I don't go out much.

I recently purchased this Optimus U-31001 1.5-Gallon Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier and it has been working out well for me so far in the one week I've been using it. I had the same problems with congestion and a sore throat, but I think that was mostly a lingering cold--the sore throat is now gone and the humidifier does seem to help with my congestion. I've been sleeping more comfortably since I started using it. I rarely turn it above medium, so I don't have to refill it but every few days. And I use distilled water in it. It's been great--where I live is extremely dry, so I think I'm going to love having it even when I'm not pregnant.

Ugh, boob pain!! Would something like this help? I've got 2 sets. One in the freezer and one ready to be heated. That or maybe a cold or warm washcloth. :( I hope your nipple feels better! They're already super sensitive!!

Yes there are Chicco travel systems. I'm going with a CitiMini GT stroller and there is an attachment you can buy for it to fit certain car seats including the Keyfit. There's also a Chicco Keyfit Caddy - http://www.amazon.com/Chicco-Keyfit-Caddy-Stroller-Frame/dp/B005JDOYF0/?tag=lucslis-20

I am enrolled on Lucies list, which has recommendations on products. One that she recommended was the Graco Classic Connect http://www.amazon.com/Graco-Snugride-Classic-Connect-Infant/dp/B00BR0ON8M/ref=sr_1_1_m?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1406312661&sr=1-1&keywords=graco+classic+connect+car+seat.

I happened to be out shopping and saw the store had it and the matching stroller on sale, plus they had a credit card discount that day, so I got a really good deal on them. I put it together and really like it. It doesn't have a ton of frills or anything.

This :)

I was craving a TB chicken quesadilla a few days ago (first time giving in to meat as a vegetarian and proooobably not the last) and once I ate it i was like, I can definitely make this at home, I just need a recipe for the sauce! In my googlings I stumbled upon the sauce and immediately ran to walmart to get some (its by the taco stuff if you're wondering). Now a couple days later, I look back on the quesadilla with revulsion and haven't even touched the sauce. My husband likes it though :P

Hi there! I've had iron issues for years pre-pregnancy due to Crohn's and heavy periods. For some reason, they disappeared for a brief window in time, only to rear their ugly head when I got pregnant.

I cannot stress how much these supplements in particular helped. I absolutely love them. Their easy on the stomach, do not cause insane constipation, and are effective. I need to buy another bottle, but I'm a little strapped for cash until payday.

Seriously. They're awesome.

This is what we did for my MIL on her birthday. She loved it!

ETA: Here's the frame we got, and we got pictures of her as a kid, and her with my husband when he was born, from her sister under the guise of a birthday scrapbook :) the last picture was our 8 week ultrasound picture.

first time grandma, so I don't think she minded any sort of overshadowing. Plus we waited until after dinner as we were ready to leave so we didn't become the topic of conversation the whole night.

As far as I know, she's got only one adult series out. Here's the first book. I really enjoy the books, and hopefully you will too :)

Sure, group hug here.
I just got a book by Deepak Chopra from the library. It's keeping me positive

If you're going to go off registry- do it practically. Someone got me a "New Moms First Days Home Kit" (http://www.amazon.com/New-Moms-First-Days-Kit/dp/B00HBTYBX0/ref=br_it_dp_o_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=18BH1KCN47F7W&coliid=I2UQ0TB7VFMI4Q) and I really appreciate this off registry gift. Mainly for the freezable pad. lol
