>I too could find an economist that states the exact opposite.

Go on...

>Not only that, but the first sentence in your quote actually disproves your "hyperinflation" theory.

Elaborate — I do not follow.

>Want to know why the price of goods is going up? Ask your president who just enacted a bunch of new trade tariffs

I absolutely agree here — thanks for reminding me of this. Overall I think tariffs will be a good thing for Americans... but definitely some "growing pains" as prices increase. Still, tariffs or not, price increases will raise the official US PPI rate.

>Using stats for Black Americans in the 1950s for economic theory seems completely disingenuous to me

Would you like to borrow this book (ask others, I lend out books to anybody that asks, whatever their political/economic stance is)? My own quote includes low-income whites, too (but just barely) because I was focusing in on one point to make a point. But the entire book has modern comparisons, too (colored and not)... it was only recently just published.

Most people that have experience in filmmaking aren't going to be willing to work for free on someone else's passion project.

Celtx is a free scriptwriting website that will help with standard formatting.

This book has been very helpful to me, also.

You'll probably find some helpful advice in /r/Filmmakers or /r/Screenwriting.

Decided on the Asus RT-N56U. Hoping it was a good bet. Way more expensive than my current Belkin thing! Thanks for the help you all.

Fun fact: it's shipping from Chattanooga.

I can tell you the Professor Messer videos are good, but in my opinion nowhere near enough to pass the Network+. I recommend the Mike Myers book and Darril Gibson's practice questions . Good luck!

I bought a bidet attachment on Amazon a few years ago and it was actually pretty great. It was a pretty simple installation process and I believe the cost was $40 or less.

Edit: Found a link for you.

I like ASUS stuff myself. AC66U. You can get the TMobile AC68U for $60 or less generally (a refurb).

Actually, if you have Sprint or TMobile service you can get a good router from them for free.

But actually this is currently the third best router ranked by SNB and is within budget. Might be something to consider. Big iffy thing on it is that it is a new to US market name brand. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075TJ8VNH/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=small0c-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B076FZ7VJ2&linkId=4e15b03c9269738c292fff3aed0565cf

This is a great review site for networking stuff.

If you go with a good higher AC router, you start pushing even closer to $200.

But check out that website, see some reviews. A 3rd ranked in any given AC category router will be solid, but who knows, might be a good bit cheaper.

DOTA guy here. There are no friends in public games.

ANYWAYSSSS--

This is in your price range, and fantastic: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C9VB318?ie=UTF8&tag=small0c-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00C9VB318

I know the look of it is a bit odd. No status lights for the individual LAN ports... but that's ok for you.

If you wanted to go bigger, this has a bit better speeds at long range, but is slightly outside your budget. It's also the router I use at home: http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Nighthawk-AC1900-Gigabit-Router/dp/B00F0DD0I6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1419565731&sr=1-1&keywords=r7000

At somewhat close range, the D-Link I listed performs the same as the R7000.

All that being said, I'd save the $50 and get the first one. If you had a ton of devices, I'd say get the R7000. You likely won't be able to tell the difference, though, with under 5 machines.... unless it's on the opposite side of the house or something.

Aeroplane is obviously a great record, this book from the 33 1/3 series is one of the best from that series. I'll be online Friday morning!

Well, I haven't been in a year. I think it helped me out quite a bit. They tested me and I found that I had allergies to trees, grasses, mold, pet dander and dust mites. Oh, and I found out I have an anaphylactic allergy to shellfish. I also take 10mg of cetirizine(generic Zyrtec) every night before bed. I can get a 1 year supply on Amazon for around $15.

I'm not a physician so I don't recommend taking medicine before talking with your physician first. 😊

These:

Sunoculars Mini (Red) with 6x the magnification of Eclipse Glasses https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J4FQXS4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_mjGVwLcSU6sDh

I'm really worried about using the real binoculars during totality. I had a hard time finding the sun with the solar pair. Granted, I only spent a couple of minutes while I was at work. Gotta be fast when it really goes. Lol

For sure. If you have a relatively clear view of NNW, you can probably get by with a [cheap indoor antenna stuck to a north/west window] (https://www.amazon.com/Antenna-Amplified-Broadcast-Television-Detachable/dp/B01FUB4ZG8/) (on sale for $17 when I'm posting).

If you're in a valley (like me), you'll probably need a more serious setup (I have this one mounted in my attic with an amplifier and it works great, even though the signal is coming to me through the side of a hill to my NNW).

Who needs cable with the internet and OTA TV?

u/RoboTicks · 5 pointsr/Chattanooga

The internet provided by the property owners is just public Wi-Fi. If you want to have your own private router, you need to purchase your own private internet connection. Contact EPB. It's $54.99/mo for a 300Mbps up/down connection.

You'll want a router like this one: https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-AC1750-Smart-WiFi-Router/dp/B079JD7F7G (Actually - just buy that one)

Source: Live(d) in Wise Properties (2 different buildings) and have/had EPB in both of them.

Worth pointing out that if heartgard, etc. are too expensive for you, purchase some sheep drench ivermectin and dose appropriately with an oral syringe.

https://www.amazon.com/Ivermectin-Sheep-Drench-Packaging-Vary/dp/B002BADTYG?th=1&psc=1

or

https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/durvet-ivermectin-sheep-drench-240-ml

It will go bad before you use the entire bottle assuming a non-hoarding number of dogs. Also ivermectin has a pretty large safety window so you can dose a little on the high side with no worries. The heartworm prevention dosage is about 1/100 of what is used to treat mange.

Here's a good article on dosing, etc.

Ha! I just came here to recommend that antenna. I'm near Athens, and have two of these. One pointed toward Chattanooga and the other toward Knoxville. Even this far out, everything comes in clear for both cities except for some random dropouts for CH61 (Comet). Sucks when it happens in the middle of Stargate!

OP:
I second the advice the use AntennaWeb. It will show you the antenna "strength" you need for your exact location and which direction to point it.

Impossible to go wrong with an R7000. Powerful enough for a small business (<75 people), and the WiFi coverage is amazing.

u/JimWilliams423 · 1 pointr/Chattanooga

+1 to that. Every spring I get invaded by big black ants scouting around for new territory. I put out one of these terro traps and they are gone in a couple of days. They take the bait back to the colony and that's the end of them. Only problem is that I have to enlarge the trap's opening so that that the ants can fit in to get the bait.

And FWIW, here's a cleaner link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZXSQ5YG
