To be fair, this particular model of TV runs for far more than $1200.

Here is the most similar I can find on Amazon for new and it runs $2500.

You can buy my sectional sofa for $280. Its better than any IKEA sofa IMO. We just inherited some furniture, so we're looking to move it.

Since you specifically mention streaming, I can't stress enough that you do NOT use the cable company's modem. They tend to be single channel crapola. Get a multi-channel modem off Amazon. I have comcast blast and use this one (8 DL channel/4 Up):

Can you pass a drug test and do you have a clean record? If so, get your Comptia Security+ 501 certificate. It is required for any government IT job which is probably one of he biggest employers here in the Springs. Every video instruction you need is free on youtube. The books are $35 on amazon. You can get discounted test certificates here. Sec+501 took me maybe a month of studying to pass, and getting it will open up more doors for you in the IT field in this town than any other certificate, so long as you meet the requirements in my first sentence. The clearance may or may not be a necessity depending on where you go. On base might be difficult, but there are more jobs than you think out there for government contracting. DOD, DHS, and numerous other agencies all have contracting jobs readily available in this town. But you need Sec+.

That's incredibly unfortunate, and the police in this town do little to help, too. I was robbed recently and we had fingerprints, high quality video in which the thief looked straight at the camera, and serial numbers and an exact list of what was stolen, and that was 2 months ago with no results.

Since then I've become anal about my car's security, and to protect against this I got locking lug nuts. Dead simple to use, and it secures your wheels; I highly recommend them.
