The headers will definitely make it louder, add a few HP too.
Real power is gained from a cam and tune with headers, exhaust intake etc. The tune is the most important part.

The Vitesse throttle controller is also a great way to wake up the lazy throttle response. The car has an e throttle pedal, its not a direct to the throttle body by wire, its all electronic. The throttle controller increases the throttle blade response in relation to how much throttle you give the car. It's pretty cool. I may even have one for sale soon, keep up with me.

The plastidip is a very cheap and easy way to try black wheels. Just go with about 5 coats per wheel and start light, allow the proper dry time and do multiple coats or it will not adhere. Prior to plastidip, wash the wheels very very well with a non greasy solvent or the dip will peel instantly upon drying. Again, multiple light coats until the wheels are properly covered and then you can add thicker coats. IT si pretty good at self leveling so it will look nice and flat black. You might want to do the halo and the rear spoiler.

If you have faded black plastics, there is a great restorer available on Amazon that I used on my 2012 GS Vette, it is fucking amazing the difference is makes and is quite permanent.

I used a half OZ on my H2 and the GS and both look great after several storms and washes.

Feel free to PM me with any questions, Ive owned two Vettes and am soon to buy a C7Z so I know my way around these cars pretty well.

>It's not mine yet!

Haha well it sounds like it's a done deal from your other comments in the post! Get excited, it's your Corvette :)

>Yeah I'll definitely be getting one. Any recommendations?

I run this Escort Passport model, though I bought it a year or two ago when it was on Amazon Prime. I picked it because it uses the same sensor from the Escort Redline (this model) which used to be the top of the Escort product line, so my detector has essentially the same range and detection capabilities and just misses out on some features like adaptive false-alarm avoidance. Didn't seem like the extra features were worth an extra $300 (though my detector has probably paid for itself many times over by now!) I would stick with Escort or Valentine personally but I hear Uniden is getting better. You can check this forum out for lots of info on the current market and what the best deals are.

I used a clay bar when I bumped a white pole with my vette. Took it right out with some work.

or you might try a color matching wax. Meguiar's makes one. Here's a bunch of reviews of turtle wax. Not sure if I trust turtle wax on my car but at least the reviews show what a product like this can do.

Best of luck and save the wave.

I can not recommend this unit enough:

Pioneer AppRadio 4 SPH-DA120 6.2-Inch Capacitive Touchscreen Smartphone Receiver Display https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O8B7CFS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0FHsDbY8Y0Y0S

It has Apple CarPlay as well as android auto depending on your phone. Great sound, customizable lights on the front to match your interior, even HDMI in the back (look up adding a raspberry pi car computer).

I’ve bought two for my wife and I and would buy a third if I had a car to put it in.

Also congratulations on your car! Enjoy it and don’t forget to 👋

Congratulations. That’s one of the best looking stock C7 I’ve seen especially for a non Z.
That color is 👌🏽
Your not quite yet part of the family till you make this purchase....

Looks really nice. I've been debating on where to place a switch that's out of the way but easy to reach, and this seems like it would work well.

Is there a reason you tapped the heated seat fuse rather than just connecting the switch and an in-line fuse on the normal NPP circuit? I thought tapping the seat fuse was to prevent the wireless receiver on the M2W kit from draining battery?

Also, if anyone reading this has plans to get a M2W kit, save yourself some cash and buy this instead. The "official" kits just add a bit of wire, a spade connector, and a fuse tap.

I found this thing pretty helpful for easy storage and to keep things from sliding when you start pushing Gs 😊 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000E81VN8/ref=mobile_oh_details_?ie=UTF8&psc=1#

Also recommend Xpel

You may want to move to the 8oz. I haven't used this yet, but someone from r/vive said yesterday they used it to repair scratches on a delicate lens (more important for functionality than your t top). I just bought this to try on my vive that has a scratched lens. If you'd want to wait a couple days I can update you on my success!

Do it! I spent 4+ years with a C5 as my ONLY car. Great cars! Radio can be easily upgraded.

the shorter serpentine belt was needed after i removed the smog pump and not shown is the dart iron eagle heads i got on craigslist for a good deal, not everything in the build is there and some links might be bad though

as far as HP/Torque its in the 270-330HP range judging from racing against other cars in that power range

I daily drive mine as well. You all should try out Jet Seal. It says it lasts a year, but I try to do it every 6 months or so. The rain basically washes my car now. The stuff is like magic.

Looks better than the wonky factory ones IMO.
