  • MINIATURE SIZE:The B1W mini stealthy car camera is only 90mm/3.54in x 29mm/1.14in x 38mm/1.50in without an LCD screen. The small size and all-black form factor make it is more stealthy. Support 64GB max Micro SD card (Not included in the package)
  • 360° ROTATABLE CAMERA BODY:Camera body of the B1W drive recorder supports 360-degree rotation, making it easy to adjust lens angle if necessary, allowing inside or outside of the car video recording
  • SUPER CAPACITOR: The B1W car camera video recorder uses dual supercapacitors instead of a lithium battery, which is a safer and more reliable choice to operate in hot environments
  • BUILT-IN WiFi: The B1W car DVR with WiFi function can connect to view footage, download videos, and change settings via an APP on your iPhone or Android device Note: Please use the car power supply, cigarette lighter socket, not the laptop for the power source
  • PARKING MODE FUNCTION: The B1W dashboard camera comes with a parking mode function, which triggered by G-sensor. When an impact is detected by the G-sensor, the camera starts video recording for 30 seconds automatically. (The hardwire kits needed for Parking Mode are not included in the standard package, the buyer needs to buy it separately.)
  • SUPER CAPACITOR: The B1W car camera video recorder uses dual supercapacitors instead of a lithium battery, which is a safer and more reliable choice to operate in hot environments. ( But since it uses a capacitor, it may not keep the system time after weekend parking, only suggest you sync the time in the app every Monday)

> I need a dash came tho is good quality but it just connects as a USB. My car has a single outlet and I use it for my FM transmitter. The transmitter has a USB port tho.

Please do not pick a dash cam based off of this. Simply Hardwire the dash cam to the fuse box.

Things you should choose a dash cam based off of:

  • Video quality: Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, Potato - To come to this assessment google: (Name of dashcam) + Sample video. You want to review Day/Night/Shadow, look for flaws such as: Black Sun, Reflection White out, Dark Tunnel -> Full day light Over exposure. WDR - ability to see into shadows.

  • Build quality: Typically Made in China = Fair build quality (minor flaws/expect to update firmware) or Poor (do not buy.) Typically Made in Korea = Excellent build quality no or minor flaws. - Chinese make good dash cams, but

  • Parking mode: Yes/No, Excellent parking mode vs Lackluster Parking mode. Lackluster parking mode is fine, it just lacks one or more features of Excellent. Example: A119 v2, Automatic Engage/Disengage, Not buffered, Requires Hardwire kit with low voltage cut off feature. - Excellent parking mode: Automatic Engage/Disengage; Buffered - Able to record a few seconds before Motion sensor and/or G sensor activation, and after (Like a time machine); Low voltage cut off feature (Adjustable) Voltage/Timer based (either part of the dash cam it self or part of the recommended hardwire kit.)

  • Wifi/cellphone app - Yes/No, and quality of.

  • Cloud feature - Requires a mobile wifi hotspot ($50-100 USD) adds pretty cool features, Location tracking, Streaming, Upload/download to cloud, Cellphone text message notification(s) of G sensor activation(s) while in parking mode, Over speed notifications. Generally in the USA/Canada/Mexico it can be pretty expensive because of cellphone/LTE data networks, but people in the EU/Asia do this pretty often.

  • Other features - Voice warnings of Micro SD card failure. Voice warnings of dash cam failures. Audio beeping noises of Micro SD card Failures. Audio beeping noises of dash cam failures.

  • 1 CH (Front) or 2CH (Front/Rear)

Anyways, just something to think about. Standard Copy pasta below.

    ----

In the dashcam world there are two very specific types of dash cams.

  • Excellent video quality, Fair build quality, Lackluster parking mode dash cams: These are built for new dash cam buyers wants. Lackluster parking mode isn't bad, it just lacks one or more of the features of Excellent parking mode. Fair build quality, minor bugs/errors to be expected - keep up with firmware updates expected.

  • Excellent build quality, Excellent parking mode, Good/Fair video quality dash cams: These are built for veteran dash cam buyers wants. Excellent build quality, few if any flaws/bugs, maintenance is largely optional, and more functional bells and whistles. Excellent parking mode: Automatic Engage/Disengage; Buffered - able to record a few seconds before and after G sensor and/or Motion sensor activation (like a time machine;) Built in (or Recommended hardwire kit) Low voltage cut off feature (Adjustable) Voltage/Time based. Good/Fair video quality is far from Excellent, you should check it. Good video quality does exist in this dash cam type. Excellent video quality does exist in this dash cam type (expensive though.)

    Budget dash cams:

  • B1W ($47-55 USD) - Has wifi/cellphone app, Good video, Fair build quality, Lackluster parking mode: Automatic, Not buffered, Requires hardwire kit with low voltage cut off feature to enable parking mode.
