> Alex - Content Was Cut
> I was so excited when I ordered this shirt. But when I got it, it was just two sleeves in a box. Customer service informed me that I needed to wait for all the DLC (Down Loadable Cotton) to be released in order to have the full experience.
> Kenny - Almost have the full set
> I almost have the full set, I just need the black one to complete it. For some reason, every time I click to order the black one, it keeps giving me dupes of the other ones I already have! I will keep grinding though.
> Rynic - One Star
> I bought two shirts and they had the same rolls on them.

> This is a great shirt. I wanted to order more but my vault space was limited. But it's good that besides color they are all identical in design and purpose, just like in game
> Ben K. - I don’t have time to explain why I love this shirt so much
> I don’t have time to explain why I love this shirt so much, although it did feel like the long sleeves in the dlc were just trimmed from the original product.
> Josh - ...review but I literally can't be bothered - just like the Bungie.
> I was going to write a long review but I literally can't be bothered - just like the Bungie.

> Patrick - Most Rewarding Shirt Ever**
> This shirt changed my life. It truly is the most rewarding shirt.
Whilst wearing it, I found 20c down the back of my sofa and a recently lost chocolate that could have easily melted and caused a mess. Taking my new found "most rewards ever" luck, I wore it to work and did not get a pay rise, or get fired. Later that day I went to a restaurant and found that my meal was pretty good, with the order being delivered in good time.
> I put things to the test on my way home from work stopping off at Ikea and buying a bedside table. To my surprise, only one screw was missing from the pack and I was still able to put the thing together before midnight. God bless this shirt, and God bless Bungie.
> I have also bought one for my (single) brother. He plans to wear it on Friday night to see if he can garner some of this incredible luck with the ladies.

Here's a link to the actual Review page.
Vita has to be connected through wifi, PS4 can be connected through either wifi or ethernet, but you definitely want it connected through ethernet. When you're close enough to the PS4, your Vita will connect directly to the PS4 and works pretty great.
I've used it at my girlfriends house where they have slow internet and a ton of people on at the same time streaming tv, and I was about 30-50 ft from the router, it had noticeable lag and the graphics started getting rally blurred and it disconnected a few times.
Under best conditions, you'll probably want to avoid the crucible, because even with minimal lag, I think it purposely drops frames too keep the connection solid but this makes the controls feel..off. There isn't a lag, it just feels too sensitive almost. I tested it by playing with my TV still on (basically using the Vita solely as a controller) and it's very responsive and feels fine, but holding up the Vita to watch both screens at once, they both start and finish movements at the same time, the Vita just looks jumpy. It's not to hard to get used to and it works great for anything PvE, but the jarring feeling you get while turning can easily cost you a match in crucible.
Also, right bumper to fire, left bumper to ADS, feels natural obviously. But touch the right side of the screen to melee, left side for grenade, both easy to hit on accident. Center of the screen for nav mode. Tapping ▼ on the D-pad to sprint (feels easier than L3 on DS4 imo), and holding ◄ on the D-pad allows you to use ∆, Square, O, and X for your emotes.
I don't know if ▲ or ► do anything, and without R3 you can't check other players unless you go to the roster▲ on the D-pad is for character highlight, and it looks like ► doesn't do anything. Wish they would let ► allow you to compare items.I personally love it though.
Edit: Anyone considering this should also consider getting a grip for the Vita, It makes a huge difference imo (cheap one here).
Edit 2: Control Scheme. Apparently ▲ on the D-pad is Character highlight.
There aren't any solid solutions that will be both device agnostic and inexpensive, unfortunately. If you end up sticking with the X360, my favorite has been the XBox 360 Wireless Headset. Alternatively I had an extra set of Plantronics M Series earloop and eartips that I stuck onto the 'set and I find them to be much more comfortable / better at remaining in place. In all, with the optional kit, can run you from $25-$40 (sometimes you'll find a dirt cheap sale on the communicators somewhere, especially for like the MW3 edition). Personally I wouldn't go any higher in cost for an X360 solution, unless you go full-blown with an Astro Mixamp Pro and a favorite, high quality headset (expect to spend anywhere from $200-$500 altogether, or higher if you go really nuts).
A solid, dollar for dollar, PC / PS4 solution would be to get the SteelSeries v2 paired with an adapter like this ($60-$80 solution, depending). The DS4 has a 3.5mm jack that will support in-game sound as well as chat. The downside to it is it's a little underpowered. A lot of people don't have issues with it, but I'm rather picky. Thankfully the SteelSeries v2 only has a 32 Ohm impedance and an accompanying low-ish sensitivity level. So they don't take much to drive, but still -- to me the sounds for anything on the DS4 are a little muddy. To forego it, you would need to spend a little more money. Next step up, which works great for the PS4, would be the Sony Wireless Gold for around $80, but while it's a great solution for the PS4 I find it subpar on the PC. To get better sound out of the PS4 you would have to go the Astro Mixamp Pro route.
For PS4 you could also go the opposite direction in pricing and get the $12 PS Vita Earbuds and just shove those in the DS4 jack. While still an inline mic (will be picking up a lot of ambient noise) these are far better than what you can get out of the packaged earbud / mic with the PS4. If your soundcard doesn't support mic input via the headphone jack and only has the separate 3.5mm, can always use another adapter that goes in the reverse. Or just simply save up for a different headset for PC.
Sorry if this isn't the sort of question intended for this thread, but I've searched and searched and haven't been able to find an answer.
My friend and I own the original Destiny game as well as the first two expansions. We haven't played for months, but are interested in coming back now to check out the new content in The Taken King. It looks like the cheapest way of acquiring TKK would be to buy the physical legendary edition (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZJ20YQO/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza) which is $35, but this has a lot of duplicate content for us. I'm just wondering if there are any issues upgrading to TKK going this route. Will all of our save data (characters, weapons, etc.) remain intact if we essentially re-buy everything that came before TKK?
It seems crazy that the standalone digital upgrade for TKK is $40 and this entire legendary package is only $35, but if this is viable path to getting the expansion, then we'll happily save the $5.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Depends on what you expect out of time investment.
You could easily get 60 hours of content out of D2 Vanilla and currently it is $22 on Amazon.
I'm sitting at ~300 hours played so far with a couple breaks here and there for a breath and to finish some other games. You do run out of game given goals and sometimes have to make your own, but there is content there.
If you truly are looking for an enjoyable experience I would avoid comparing in to D1, because stand alone it is a good game, but nostalgia and rose colored glasses can tint your viewpoint.
In the end play what is fun to you. What value do you want out of $22?
Same as /u/Lokisfather, I too use my elite controller on my PS4.
https://smile.amazon.com/Gam3Gear-Brook-Converter-Gaming-Adapter-Keychain/dp/B01GDVGQ48/
Not that I'm advertising, but just letting you know what I use, and it works pretty seamless with Destiny. I love having the same feel of controller in my hand, with the paddles... for both consoles.
I just picked up the Sony Pulse Elites (originally for the PS3). They will work with anything with a USB port from what I understand (I bought them specifically to be compatible for both my X1 and PS4, as well as PC/Mac).
They are really fantastic - the Virtual Surround Sound is great, they're comfortable (though a bit heavy) and the mic is built-in, so there's no boom to deal with.
I picked them up on sale for $99 off Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Edition-Wireless-Headset-PlayStation-3-63089006306200/dp/B0087OZ5FG
Potentially not that helpful since you mentioned 1080p, but I use Dell's 1440p 144hz g-sync monitor and love it. Colors take a little tweaking in the Nvidia settings but looks great to me once dialed in next to my 1080p ISP panel.

The 24'' is only $300 at the moment.
http://www.amazon.com/ASTRO-Gaming-A50-Xbox-One-Halo/dp/B00NY5ZO0Y
Extremely comfy for long sessions, not very heavy. Great audio controls, awesome sound mixer. Look badass. Expensive yes, but if you have the disposable income they are pretty badass.
I use Sony's Pulse Elite Wireless Headset with my PS4. I have enjoyed it quite a bit; comfortable, has plenty of audio options including a slide to balance between voice and gameplay volume, and the battery life is great.
I know nothing about your particular muscular issues, so this may be of no help in your case, but the paddles on the Xbox Elite controller are much more ergonomically accessible than those on the SCUF in general:
https://cdn.geekwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Xbox-One-Paddles-620x412.jpg
I use an Xbox Elite controller on the PS4 myself simply because as someone who plays games on both platforms I prefer it to the DS4. I use it via this adapter, which works great:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GDVGQ48
Admittedly, having to pay about $200 for a solution ($150 for the Elite controller, $50 for the adapter) is not ideal and I do support Bungie just adding auto-sprint as an option to the game, just throwing the information about the Elite paddles out there as a possible option if they do drop the ball on this.
I'm not sure about any previous generations, but the Gen2 XBox One A50s sound great. They may be a little overpriced, but I decided to get them because I thought they also looked good (http://www.amazon.com/ASTRO-Gaming-A50-Xbox-One-Halo/dp/B00NY5ZO0Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420575255&sr=8-1&keywords=a50+halo)
Thanks for the great info, time to order an SSD.
Can somebody help me figure something out? I am looking at these two SanDisk SSD's. This one is 480 GB and on sale for $69.99 and this one is 500 GB for $84.99. Would they both work with an external enclosure? Is the 480 GB version something different? The dimensions are roughly the same as all of the others but it doesn't have 2.5" in the description anywhere.
Thanks guardians.

The best piece of advice I can give you, is stay away from dedicated a PS4 headset.
Grab yourself one of these and then you have a few options.
You can either buy a PC gaming headset (going to be better quality than what you can find solely for the PS4). Or better yet, but a wicked paid of dedicated audio headphones, and a clip on mic. Since you're going to be using the cable I posted above, it's going to end up being a lot better quality for audio, and a mic is just a mic anyways.
This seems pretty cool, don't really need it for the strategy as much as it will be a nice collectible with some goodies inside. I know you can get every answer online now, but it's something about being a little old-school with this guide. It's more of a extra perk then a benefit.
I was also wondering does anyone know much about the The Art of Destiny it's on Amazon for $32.21 and isn't scheduled for delivery until December 16th. Thoughts?
There is a Collector's edition strategy guide that I'm sure has some cool art/screens plus a ton of info (obviously). Amazon has it cheaper than Gamestop.

Your best bet is probably to find a discounted TTK Legendary Edition to go with your code, since I believe you can't play it without TTK and you definitely can't without the base game. Here's one I found for only $26.
EDIT: If your question is that can you buy RoI on its own on xbox one if you already own destiny and all the DLCs, then the answer is yes.
One more thing I forgot to mention. It's worth investing in a Vita grip if you plan to play for an extended time. There's a few you can find on Amazon that are inexpensive. Just make sure you know which Vita you have. I have a first generation which are slightly bigger so some grips will not fit.
This is the one I use: CTA Digital PS Vita Hand Grip https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0073ESZ58/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_dizOwb55ENZ1B
Bungie store is probably your best shot, but I did see that Insert Coin Clothing has started a Destiny clothing line. Personally, I am looking at getting the Art of Destiny book because Bungie has made such a beautiful game and I never really have the time to take it all in.

Yes you are going to have to buy TTK again. But it should be available at a pretty good discount now.

LOL! I have EVERY Destiny Mega Bloks set available to date along with 6 multiples of the two sparrow kits that come with a captain and a shank. I will have to remember to take a picture when I get home. And yes. Slippery slope indeed. I already preordered the new $200 Cabal dropship that comes out next month.
Have you considered an ethernet power line kit?
I know lots of people swear by them. Can be a great solution. Can't vouch for this exact model, just pulling a link as an example: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AWRUICG?cache=f3df3ca8d37cd422144d765e1d2b5795&pi=SX200_QL40&qid=1406631768&sr=8-1#ref=mp_s_a_1_1

On console?
Buy an internal SSD and a usb enclosure. Plug that in to you usb 3 and you are all set. Just transfer games to it.
A 256gb drive is ~$50 on amazon. Sometimes can get a good deal on a 500gb drive.
Personally I like Crucial.

I got 250GB, could probably get slightly better performance on a Samsung drive, and larger drives tend to be faster when it comes to SSD (I had budget limitations lol). Though you're not going to get any real benefit from going all teh way up to the newest PCI-E bus drives as the PS4 doesn't have a lane for that (which is why I got the SATA M.2 drive).

PS4/PS4 Pro - External SSD is vastly superior to the default HDD. Using an internal SSD can be faster or slower than using it externally. Basically, your probably best off keeping your internal HDD for games you play less often and slapping Destiny plus a few other titles on an external SSD as there's not a ton of speed to be gained by going internal.
Xbox One - Similar to the PS4, you will gain an immense amount of speed by using an external SSD instead of the internal HDD. I don't think you can normally install an SSD internally with Xbox.
By the way, if you're thinking, "but damn external SSDs have stupid markup on them" then you are absolutely correct, have a cookie. Now buy your regular cheap internal SSD and slap it in one of these. Can't tell you how it functions with Xbox but works perfectly with my Pro. Also note that depending on the SSD you may have to pop it into a computer (or plug it in with the enclosure) and initialize the drive/format it for the PS4 to properly recognize it but this step isn't always necessary it seems.
Think you can buy TTK for cheap now which includes everything. Now is great time to buy it. You should be fully leveled up before RoI drops.

CAN I INTEREST YOU IN TWOTOKENSANDABLUE TO COMPENSATE? MANY WOULD FEEL ITS THE MOST REWARDING THING NEXT TO FINDING YOUR LOST WALLET AND GETTING KICKED IN THE NUTS AT THE SAME TIME.
I just got one. They really do make a difference, especially if your system memory is getting full.
I got away with spending only $75 for 480GB
Be careful though.
I saw a lot of no name chinese knockoffs at $50 that I would not trust.
Your most cost effective route is to get a drive and a $10-$20 enclosure separately.
Last month i got mine on sale for $12 off.

Fabricate an exotic engram as the box for his present and inside have https://www.amazon.com/Most-Rewarding-Public-Event-Shirt/dp/B077PNBLQ8 with a Christmas card from Master Rahool.
As an explanation Exotic engrams are considered the most rare drops in the game, they are wierdly shaped containers with loot inside. In Destiny one we had to bring them to this Rahool guy to open them and often you'd, instead of getting an item of the rarity the engram was, you'd get an item that was a tier lower.
If he's been around since D1 and he's been on the latest memes he could/would/should find it pretty funny
Good news! The full Forsaken Collection which includes the base game, both Year 1 DLCs and the new Forsaken expansion, is 40 bucks on Amazon right now.
Not trying to get involved in all the poop throwing in the comments, but Powerline Adapters. Give it a try, might make things better for everyone involved - cheap too.
I bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01F9G46Q8 and https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HJZJI84
the UASP is the important bit for utilising the speed of the ssd.
I also did a full ntfs format of it on my pc and checked if the firmware needed updating before I plugged it in my xbox1 reformatting and copying the games over, hope this helps, John
Agreed. And tons of credit to whoever buys and builds this one at $200: https://www.amazon.com/Mega-Construx-Gladiator-Dropship-Signature/dp/B0728B4JPG/

Literally the first thing is says on the page.
Very doubtful honestly. I've been keeping a close eye on sales for Destiny 2's DLC and it's never happened. Either the base game is the only one that goes on sale, or sites with voucher codes (e.g. GreenManGaming always excluide Destiny 2's DLC as an option for using the discount.
There could potentially be a sale on the season pass as we approach the September expansion? Maybe? It's more likely that they'll put a new version of Destiny 2 on sale in December which has the base game, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and the September expansion all bundled into one (much like the Legendary edition of Destiny: The Taken King and Destiny: The Collection) I honestly don't know though.
Also, you double-posted your comment.
This is from Amazon, for the PCH-1000 series (the original OLED model).
I use this: http://www.amazon.com/Edition-Wireless-Headset-PlayStation-3-63089006306200/dp/B0087OZ5FG for just about everything. Works with bluetooth or can be tethered with the supplied cord, has an adjustment for Game volume, Sound/Voice balance, and Bass.
They also sound better than the $300 Beats my son has.

Oh, i think you can find the legendary edition (contains everything you need to be up to date, vanilla game + 3 DLCs) of the game for around 40 now (or even less) due to the holiday sales
although that would be physical copy and delivery during this time period dont tend to be great...

I'd say your best bet is to just buy The Taken King: Legendary Edition. It comes with the base game, expansions I & II, and The Taken King.
It's only $32.99 on Amazon right now!
It's cheaper than buying everything separate, because, sadly, you will have to re-buy expansions I & II since they no longer carry-over to Xbox One.
My update went smoothly yesterday.
This is the SSD I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0764WCXCV/
And this is the enclosure: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OJ3UJ2S/
Even if it doesn't solve the update problem its worth it for the improved loading times.
> Bungie literally named the archetypes
If you look at the D1 strategy guide, they actually had it then but it was not implemented to the degree that it is now. There is actually an image on the Amazon page that shows it.
There are a few things in D2 that remind me of early development D1...
Amazon US $39.99
Amazon Canada prices vary, at least last gen is a bit cheaper there though. I got so used to the CDN being worth about the same as USD that it still pains me to see the price differences between both stores.
Amazon is having a sale too in the US!

Buy the Vanilla Strategy Guide. There are 2 high-quality litographies in there I also hanged on my Wall. Won't disappoint!

37$ with Amazon Prime. Point being, you can find it for less than 50$ at many different locations aside from your PS4 store.
Dell 1440p 144hz G-Sync If you're willing to shop on amazon, you can get this amazing monitor for only ~480 usd.
I’m guessing amazon. I remember seeing an image of one.

It's available for $39.99 for both the physical and digital editions.

Not sure how the headset works for XBONE but on PS4 I'm using SteelSeries Siberian V2 (about $60-70) and using an adapter like this to plug into my controller. Has volume control and self mute but unfortunately it doesn't have separate controls for voice/game.
I bought this for my brother. It was $29.99 December 14th only. Now I can finally get all that Refer-A-Friend shit. I'm pretty stoked to start all over with him.
A hard copy might be your cheapest option - it's about £20 on Amazon if you just want Forsaken. It's £35 though the XBox store for the complete collection (that includes the annual pass). The shopping tab on google has a load of options too.
What's the problem with getting the Xbox One version of the Legendary edition for $20?

The $40 digital upgrade path is a gigantic rip-off!
No on where, ever, do I believe it was stated that you could pay for Rise of Iron and get the rest of next-gen Destiny for free. You have to rebuy everything old for current gen.
I bought the legendary edition the other day, unaware that a new expansion was dropping so soon. Was there a different version I should have got, or just waited? Should I even worry about RoI content for a while since I'm brand new anyway?
