You should def sand that down to a smooth lip and apply some beeswax, also you can get a good sounding beginner didge on amazon for ~$35, it’s durable and plays very well it’s just not made from wood but it looks just like wood & has a nice tone. I bought 3 of these. They're perfect. And pretty cheap.
Wow, that price is nuts. After a bit of searching, I found the [Meinl Trombone Didgeridoo] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBDG5_LpW5E) which bears a striking resemblance to the X8 Drums Slide Didge and ranges around the same price. Seems to have good reviews too.

The mouthpiece is contoured as part of the didge with a thin beeswax coat, so it's not a bad idea to get some extra organic wax as well, if you play it alot you will wear it off in a few months and need to re-dip it to keep a good seal against your mouth
