Hey! I had a similar dilemma and found this awesome invention. The mifold booster seat. Its a portable car seat that meets NHTSA regulations and can fit in a purse. It's obviously not as safe as a full size seat, but it's perfect for travel or if you want to drop off the kids with someone who doesn't have a spare in their car. We bought one for our last trip to Orlando and my wife just put it in the carryon. I wouldn't recommend it for any long drives, but it's fine for short trips from the airport -> hotel or from hotel -> parks. Super convenient and highly recommended. It'll be cheaper than renting a car seat and you get to keep the seat for future!

We're 35 and 36 with no kids and just bought annual passes and spent four days there at the end of May. Disney World is tons of fun, as long as you like Disney characters. There are lots of rides that are really for any age, and only a few that I would consider "kiddie" rides.

One thing we like doing is collecting the stamped pennies. There are so many, and they make nice little souvenirs.

I've got both I'm using on my trip in Sept.
You’re going in August. I’d be surprised if you will need to keep it cold for more than 30 min before you’ve drank it all. If you leave any average size bottle filled for hours while in the park you’re not drinking enough to stay hydrated. Orlando in August is H-O-T and humid.
My family of 4 used 2 Brita water bottles and just constantly filled them up at the fountains. They stayed cool long enough to disappear and need refills. The Brita filter in them got rid of the nasty WDW water taste.

Would memorizing the ride help? there are so many great ride videos out there. If you know where the jump scares are in the graveyard, you'll be ready for them. Theres also an amazing book about the history of the Haunted Mansion. Understanding it's history might make it less scary.
