Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition was released for consoles last week bundled with it's sequel. Just bear in mind, visually it's the same game as the 2012 edition, which in turn is just a HD version of the 1998 original. The UI has been overhauled for console editions.

Graphically, I'm a fan of the original and consider it somewhat timeless, but folks have higher demands these days.

Gameplay, there's a learning curve but also like D:OS2 it's considered one of the greats.

Price wise, I own the original and Enhanced Edition already, so it would be very hard to justify a console purchase at $42. However, if I had never played either, paying that amount for all the content in BG1/2 and their expansions is easily worth it if you are a fan of RPGs.

You can get a brand new copy from Amazon for $19.99. I got free next day shipping with Amazon prime. They have a 1 week free trial you can grab if you like. Gamestop around here were charging $29.99 for a used copy.

You need one of these. Your hotbar will be entirely at a thumb press. Also great for MMORPG's and FPS's.

the market for egpu is finally reacting to the demand for cost effective egpus. after some research i am considering the Akitio Thunder2 PCIe Box priced at $211. ill need to read more but it is possible to upgrade the riser to support full length cards, the psu, and a case for around $90.

So for around $300 you have a system that will support graphics cards for years to come. I think people want a system around the $200 range but I have an apple cinema display monitor and would rather buy a windows copy for bootcamp rather than a shitty dvi to tb converter(~$100) if I built a pc.

It doesn't take much OP. This is my laptop that runs dos2:

It looks like it's out of stock everywhere, but it was $470. Note it is minimum EVERYTHING. Something similar should work.
