from my experiments from trying to figure out this exact thing..

first i found these plugphones https://www.plugfones.com/product/basic/ , which worked great but they don't last because the cord bend when having the head on a pillow will eventually break the wire, they might last year or so. the strategy I came up with was to use it only one to extend their use, but still for me burning $20-$24 a year was not great just to hear something going to sleep

well even from the beginning I was using earplugs, and eventually realized I could just place a tiny speaker on my outer ear and the sound passed through the earplug great, i would fall asleep and the tiny speaker would fall to the side which work well enough for me for a while until..

sticking with the same idea, I found a sleep mask that had bluetooth headphones built in, which killed like three birds with one stone, I wanted to hear something laying down, I learned that i wanted a wireless solution and I had for a while also wanted a sleep mask https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MKQQQT6/ , for me these work great with earplugs because the sound passes through the earplug well, like almost totally isolated sound and only what I want to hear

ok so the sleep mask headphones, being wireless is amazing!, comfort not 100% maybe 80%, with the earplugs maybe 85%, if you sleep on your back though it is an easy 100%. though I find the discomfort is minimal enough that it does not disrupt my sleep

One of my hobbies is looking for weird instruments and I've looked a lot. But I actually haven't seen anything like what you're looking for. That doesn't mean it can't be made, though. I'm pretty good with tools and I make a lot of my own stuff (I'm slowly teaching myself how to make guitars and other odd string instruments and I'm pretty good with other non-musical stuff) so if you find a design that you think could be adapted to your idea, let me know and I could help design it if you want.

Oh, no doubt - but the existence of a solution does not make it a universal solution. It's kind of like "braille exists, so of course she can still read, blind people read books all the time." But she lost her sight at 80, her ability to significantly change how she interacts with the world is limited. Her fingers aren't working all that great as it is. She can barely hold a smartphone without accidentally running the volume up or down without realizing she's doing it. Believe me, we tried. And some things - like announcing the name of who is calling or texting - definitely do work. But they're not a complete solution.

You're right, way too small for my purposes, but that's basically exactly what I'm talking about so I know it could exist. If that was big enough that you'd hold it up to your head instead of sticking it in your ear, we'd have a winner. Thanks for the link!

I'm guessing they can't go in an oven, but apparently they keep tortillas warm for up too an hour, so maybe I won't need to put it in there. Unless they only keep tortillas warm for up to an hour after microwaving, so maybe I could microwave the bag for a few seconds to get it up to heat, and then plop the naan in when I'm done cooking it on the stove top. Haha, honestly I'm not quite sure!

Yes but I’ve found that cheap ones are finicky.

I used this receiver/transmitter with my bluetooth speaker but theoretically you could connect one to itself cuz it has a switch to flip between receiving and transmitting. These things are battery powered and I leave mine plugged in so I don’t know how well it would fit your situation. But anywho it does exist in many forms

The only real way to do that is to get a certain water heater that holds less hot water and time it out to see how much smaller you want it to be. But simple math should suffice; if you want the hot water to diminish twice as fast, get a water heater half the size of your current one.

A cheaper easier way is to do what I did and just buy a shower head that displays the temperature. (It is water pressure powered; requires no batteries or anything.) Thereby, you'll know exactly what the best starting temperature will be for you.

I have not tried it, but a tortilla warmer is what popped into my head.

Although when I've had naan bread it would be quite a bit larger than a tortilla. Maybe just a cookie sheet with another flipped and on top would work as far as being reusable.

Although if you are heating anything in an oven, anything that can stand baking that has a cover would work, like a casserole dish, unless space is an issue.

Just in case it doesn't exist, you could hack together an equivalent setup with the following:

Connect the outputs on this switch to your amplifier with one of these cables.

Connect this Bluetooth receiver to one input on the switch with another of these cables.

Finally, connect a cable like this to the other input on the audio switch for the 3.5mm/non-Bluetooth devices. It's not as elegant as what you're looking for, but it should work.
